Our particular unit was a throwback to the 70s. Pink carpet, shiny pastel wallpaper, mirrors throughout. We loved it! So clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. There is a deck on top of the lobby that has tables and bar-b-q s for guests...More
My review of this stay is from a RCI timeshare prospective. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall appearance and location of this property. I've seen positive comments about the room rates for this location. If those reviewers enthusiasm about rates are combined...More
Arrived and wondered whet we had got ourselves into. Check is was seamless and we were given a lot of good information.
Now for the room. The property is an older facility with outside entry into the units. We entered the room, to find a...More
We were upgraded to a one-bedroom. The bedroom was away from the parking lot and farther away from the street, so there was no noise drifting in.

Ask at the front desk for passes. Then check out bikes/locks and beach towels to head down to the lake. (We often pick up sandwiches at Raleys or Subway to take, though there is a small restaurant on the beach right off the entrance.) The bike ride to the beach is safe, pleasant and easy. Heading back to the Stardust is a little more of a workout! You can also opt to head to the busier beachfront area down the street. This is where you'll find restaurants, shopping and activities like parasailing. Again it's an easy bike ride there and a little more taxing heading back. Do enjoy the beaches while you're there!
