It's cheap, it looks cheap and it feels cheap. Staff is great and friendly but room was quite dirty and gross. I wasn't sure if the sheets were fresh. Mattress had weird stains. AC was incredibly loud and didn't work well. We've had only small...More

This was THE MOST disgusting room I've ever stayed in. Theresa's dog pee stains on the carpet, the room smelled so bad-a mixture of body odor and cigarettes, stains on sheets and holes in the towels. The carpet was constantly damp, and there was no...More

Going anti-clockwise round the lake on Highway 50 onto Highway 89 via Camp Richardson and Emerald Bay takes less than 30 minutes. In winter that is an issue as near Emerald Bay it shuts frequently for avalanche control clearance but in summer should be fine. Going clockwise round the lake Highway 50 onto Highway 28 via Incline Village and Tahoe City takes 55 minutes. On approach to Emerald Bay there are sharp hairpin climbing bends with no barriers in places so don't go too crazy speed wise. Have fun there and don't spend too much in the casinos.
