This place is close to everything in South Lake Tahoe. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms a re clean and adequate. The parking is great. The FREE on site laundry facility is good. The site is a little dated but it is very quaint. It is near great eateries such as AZUL, The Blue Dog, PHO, My... More

We just returned from a week-long stay at this lovely, conveniently located resort in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. Rooms are clean, include free Wi-Fi and self-parking just outside your door. The rooms have been recently renovated and include two large flat screen televisions, a roomy sofa, comfortable firm bed, adequate dining area, a small but sufficient kitchen with microwave, two... I was initially put off from booking this hotel due to timeshare (dreadful experience in the past) but it was just like a normal hotel, thank goodness. Comfy bed, spacious room with a mini kitchen and breakfast included. 10 minute easy walk to Raley's supermarket, restaurants and shops. Minor negatives were the decor was dated and the free wifi was... More

We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath newly remodeled suite with gorgeous amenities: full kitchen w/granite counters, living rm. w/dinette, beautiful furnishings, a sunken hot-tub, TV's in three rooms, outside pool and hot-tub, table tennis, breakfast rm. w/more-than a continental breakfast, very friendly and efficient staff, great quiet location on Pioneer Trail Rd. at Stateline, CA near shopping and casinos.... We had some travel issues getting to our original reservation and decided to stay elsewhere. "Elsewhere" turned out to be Americana Village. At check-in, knowing nothing about the motel, we were offered a key to look at a room before we completed check-in. The units were squeaky clean and appeared to be fine for the quoted $99 a night so... More

This is an off the main gambling area place. It is good for families and children especially, as t has grounds for the kids to play and a rather smallish pool. Our room was just so so. It advertised a kitchen, well it was so small there is no way one could cook a meal, but you could use the microwave.... More

I hate to give the American Village less than 5 stars. They do lots of things well. But the resort did not work well for me. There is not enough parking and there are not enough handicapped spaces. I have limited mobility. It was hard getting my luggage from the nearest available space to my room. I never got one... More

My sisters and I were pleasantly surprised with the Americana Village on our bi-annual sister trip. It's not much to look at on the outside but the rooms/suites are really very very nice! Our room layout was very unique and included a king size bed - a tad hard but comfy none the less - full kitchen down a couple... More

Outside appearance fools you; it looks like a mom/pop older establishment but the rooms and bathrooms (and kitchens even!) have been nicely updated. Excellent quality on the materials used for the upgrade. Location was great as we walked to everything in 'downtown' South Lake Tahoe. I would recommend this hotel. Only downside was the breakfast which was laid out late... More
