Made a reservation for work trip for 3 rooms and got snowed out and the roads were closed - we tried to change the dates and they charged us FULL price for that stay along with forcing us to make another reservation (which we were charged for as well) while waiting for the manager to come back from vacation. Long...

When we go skiing in Tahoe, we don't spend much time in the hotel. The Apex Inn provided a decent stay, but it is by no means fancy. Typical motel, off of 50, just before the Y. The hotel is conveniently located, however, to grocery stores and restaurants. Drive to Heavenly is 10 minutes without traffic.

Managers nice. Outside quaint, inside also almost cabin feel. Problem is doors dirty, floors also, beds very uncomfortable, need power strip in rooms. This could be a great little get away and real gem with more attention to detail.

We booked one night at Apex Inn due to little hotel availability that weekend & we had a family event to attend. What a mistake. The staff was very rude & unprofessional, the rooms looked like a homeless shelter. That night after approximately 30 minutes of checking in the electricity went out. People started leaving after an hour of this....

Stayed at this hotel as a last minute addition to our road trip. Staff were friendly and there's free parking and its convenient for south Lake Tahoe, however room didn't feel 100% clean and was pretty average at best. Good for a one nighter on a road trip but not more.

Rooms were too small, paid $303 for a room everyone else paid $175 not sure how to explain that. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Whatever you do dont drop something on floor under bed...DISGUSTINGLY dirty.

The room we got (one queen bed), was so small that we were not able to fit our suitcase of normal size on a proper place. Eventually we removed the desk chair and put the suitcase under the desk. The bathroom is, on the contrary, very big and long shape with lots of useless space. Also, It was a "clean...

We took a quick trip to Tahoe at the beginning of June to beat the summer rush. Apex Inn is our go-to motel for activities in the area. It is conveniently located-- we don't drive into South Lake, only to the beach at Beacon and to Fallen Leaf Lake. We love not having to battle the traffic farther in. The...

We spent a couple of nights here in June. It's in a nice location, away from the casino area. Close to good restaurants and Emerald Bay, which was where we were doing some hiking. The place is dated, but well-maintained. Our room was clean and had a flat-screen TV, refrigerator and microwave. Free WiFi was a little slow, but not...

Our stay here was excellent, room was clean, location was good for an overnight. good place to eat across the street. The only quirk was some feature of their internet proxy blocked some functions on a few website I use giving an error when I was updating some stuff. Otherwise it worked OK. We would stay here again

Thank Edward A
