It was nice and excellent rate. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect right across the street from the casino. The manager was verry nice. We had to find a location for the night and it was perfect. Thank you and will be staying again there

Our family stayed here in July for 4 nights. We always stay at this motel when we go to Lake Tahoe. The location is geat. It is located right across the street from Harvey's. The rooms and clean and the rates are reasonable. The managers, Sunny and Tom, are wonderful. They will do everything to make your stay an enjoyable...

Stayed here for 2 nights in Sept 2012. For $171 we thought it was exceptional value and thank Mike in the Visitor Center for his recommendation! Came down from Reno where we stayed for $49 + tax in Harrahs. Thought we'd get a silmiliar deal in South Lake Tahoe. Joke! They wanted $195 for 1st night and $300 for next...

We have stayed there twice just recently. Twice because the first stay was great. We will always stay there when we got to Tahoe. The front desk person was awesome. The room was good, not overly fancy but clean and neat. The location was fabulous, as it is right across from Harveys and a half a block from the concert...

Pros: location, clean pool albeit small, the woman at check-in (great service), parking, Cons: room I had, costs The location is walking distance of most things and even though its on the California side, literally across the street is Nevada thus gaming is available very close by- Harvey's and Harrah's the two main ones. I saw on hotels.com this room...

Never again will i stay there again! The husband/manager was a total jerk. We were late arrivals and we had an 11 and 12 yr old with us and we were accused, by our nghbors, of being loud all night. The husband didnt even give us a chance to talk. In the parking lot he was yelling and cussing at...

Glad we could accommodate a late arrival, however respect of the other guests is expected. If there had not been complaints about the noise after 11pm there would not have been an issue.

This hotel is an outstanding value. It's location is ideally situated on Stateline Blvd on the friendly California Side, right across the street from Harvey's Casino on the Nevada side. The room was well appointed with a small fridge, microwave oven, premium shampoo and soaps too. The room was very clean and well maintained and the pool was awesome the...

Management was really awesome. Great location right across the street from Harveys. The rooms have nice paintings on the wall, they have lots of cool little freebie sample stuff. The pool is like a giant hot tub in the spring time. They have it cranked up for the cool spring Tahoe days. It snowed on Memorial weekend here in South...

We have been coming up to South Lake Tahoe for 10 years & always HAD a pleasant experience staying at The Capri until the new management recently took over. We were charged $165 for 1 night, which completely baffled us as we had always paid close to $80 or less. We came to find that the couple staying in the...

“I asked for a 2nd floor quiet room and was given an end room on the Cedar Ave. side of the motel. Nice to only have one shared wall, but the room was directly above the dumpster for the property and the neighboring property so that led to lots of clanging and banging. Cedar Ave. is also the main thoroughfare for people walking from neighboring motels to the strip casinos, so be prepared to have people looking into your room. (can't remember now if it was Rm. #18 or 19, but either would have the same problems)”

“The rooms on the second story facing the street have a nice view of the many horse drawn carts that regularly go up and down the street. You can hear different languages being spoken by the many people who walk to and from the beach as they walk on the street below.”
