Room was clean and bed was comfortable. There is just enough parking for all the rooms (not a very big parking lot) although confirmation email said otherwise. There is no breakfast but wifi is free. Close to many eating joins and the marina.

This was a great hotel. The management are really nice. The ambiance was perfect for lake tahoe! I recommend it to anyone who really wants to enjoy their stay. Nice rustic rooms. We stayed in a 3 room suite. Check it out!

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 4. We turned up and booked. The woman at reception seemed nice but the man was quite miserable. The room was fine but absolutely freezing cold!!!! We asked reception to light our gas fire which we couldn't keep on all night and woke up cold with runny noses. 4 cups...

Our room had old, old drapes and a bedspread with holes, disgustingly stained pillows, wet carpet where the ceiling had leaked, moldy shower with broken faucet, a fan for a.c., a flimsy lock on the door and no bolt, bars on the window and the smoke alarm was missing. Some of the other patrons made noise all night long. I...

The room was DIRTY. The carpet at the foot of the queen sized bed smelled of vomit and was sticky dirty everywhere. The two chairs were stained. I found a cannabis seed in my night stand drawer, and the other night stand was nailed shut. We ran out of "Kleenex" after one use and, upon lifting the empty box out...

This was the worst experience ever. I booked this hotel thru Expedia (a trusted site) and it was horrible. The carpet was torn and had holes all over it. It was so stained and smelled disgusting. I was shocked when I plugged in my hot iron, there was no grounded outlets. The bathroom- the door would not close, the towels...

The best thing in the room was the Jacuzzi tub big enough to hold four people. Not that we had four people. The bed was king size. The refrige, held the Microwave, and it held the coffee maker. The closet was a shelve with rod across to hang maybe four garments. Under the shelf was the desk. So couldn't hang dress or...

This place is just the pits! They gave us one queen bed for 3 people and then had the nerve to say we could have a king bed for $50 more! It was already way overpriced! The room had a disgusting odor to it and was the size of a shoebox! It was falling apart and filthy dirty. The icing...

I just stayed at the Pinewood Inn and found the rooms to be clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hotel is rustic, I happen to like wood and rustic so it was perfect for my needs. For the price you get a small frig, microwave, and coffee maker in your room. I have traveled a lot and getting these items for...
