Amazing views, excellent hospitality (staff and owners), up close with nature (birds), clean, excellent food, relaxing, I can go on and on. Casa Botania makes San Vito amazing. Our baby enjoyed it as well.

We stayed at this very charming bed-and-breakfast three nights. The view is fantastic. The breakfasts are multi-course and delicious. Pepe and Kathleen are wonderful hosts. Pepe is a birding guide and I spent several hours with him checking out the birds of this area. We spent one day going to Las Tablas and if this is an option for you...

Located nearby San Vito, Casa Botania is an amazing jewel! An amazing view from all rooms, a trail in the forest at your feet, a great vegetarian restaurent operated by the owners. The location is exquisite, lots of birds, quiet, staff very welcoming and helping. They can arrange almost any kind of excursions! Highly recommend, will come back!

A lovely place to stay and worth a special visit because so nice in itself and and many things to do locally. The people are lovely and the food is superb. The hillside location offers wonderful panoramic views from balcony and bathroom. Online comms can be tricky and showers are dreadful but otherwise perfect.

We spent 2 nights here and it was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable and very reasonably priced. We also ate one evening meal here and it was superb. Breakfast is included and was also delicious. Fresh fruit home new bread jams cheese tomatoes and choice if eggs or crepes Can't wait to comeback.

Full disclosure: We did not sleep on the premises, but only dined there, enjoying our best meal by far in Costa Rica. Background: After much dithering, we opted to sleep nearby in the Wilson Botanical Garden, as we are "hort heads" compelled to get in as many hours as possible with the multitudinous plant collections. However, we implored the gracious,...

Casa Botania is simply enchanting. The incredibly comfortable cabins are set in delightful and tranquil gardens. The views over the valley are phenomenal. Kathleen, the owner is totally delightful and an incredibly warm and helpful host. It was an added treat to spend time with her thoroughly amiable parents who were visiting from Belgium and our 8 year old was...

San Vito is not one of the more visited areas of Costa Rica, and that is too bad. It is a wonderful area to visit and when you do... stay with Kathleen and Pepe at Casa Botania. They are so open and caring of their customers. The rooms are wonderful, with a view that is unbelievable (see photo). Birds abound...
