Had a wonderful seven nights camping here. Michael the owner made us so welcome with his friendly, attentive yet relaxed style. Michael provided fresh eggs and wild mushroms from the fields and a barrow full of logs for a fire for only £5. He was always popping onto the field to welcome new people and very regularly cleaned the toilets...

We stayed for 3 nights mid August, and had a wonderful time. There is a choice of two fields to camp in - we opted for the one near the shower block. Lots of space and lovely views of trees and surrounding fields, with cows in the field behind our tent. The local wildlife is abundant - tawny owls overnight...

A beautiful and peaceful campsite in the beautiful Chew Valley. There aren't many mod cons, but it's the simplicity of getting back to nature that makes this campsite so relaxed. The farmer Michael is great, popping along for a chat, making sure that you get a pitch you're happy with, and happily supplying logs for your firepit. The amenities include...

I stayed with a group of friends at this lovely campsite. The views were beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The washing and toileting facilities were kept very clean and tidy. The showers were immaculate, hot and powerful, exactly what was needed after getting rather soaked...

Stayed for 1 night in June we just loved it. It was cute, roomy, comfy and very peaceful. We had a campfire in the evening and there was even a log burner in the hut. There is a beautiful view from the hut and its a pleasure just to chill and sit outside. We will definitely be back again :)

A beautiful little secluded campsite with plenty of space between pitches, open fires are welcome in the firepits provided and logs are £5 per big barrow (you can take your own logs though). Facilities are very clean even down to the lack of cobwebs and grouting in the showers being sparkling! Composting toilets have solar powered lighting which provide a...

This to us was the best camping trip we have ever had and we are well versed! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome. Mike was a delightful host and very knowledgeable of the area. Just a real nice chap who always had time for us. For firewood, taking the kids around on the tractor...

The site is fantastic. Very basic but as others have said, it's clean and has everything you need. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - he showed the children the chickens which they fed and picked up, provided us with everything we needed to make a fire and then turned up on his tractor in the morning...

Michael the farmer was great - from helpful advice at time to booking through to visiting us daily and also taking the kids for a tractor ride. We couldn't have asked for better service! The campsite was nice and small, with the nicest/cleaners compost toilet I have ever seen and clean powerful showers. Easy to access Bristol and surrounding area,...

Everyone is really friendly and the bunkhouse is a nice get away from modern technology such as a T.V and WiFi. You can sit outside by a fire and there is a nice BBQ you can use. Overall I really liked it and I would defently recomend it for a family holiday.

“Bunk house is good for small groups or a family. The location is idyllic and very tranquil. Didn't try camping, but field is level, and facilities there that you would expect from a campsite for those wishing to use a tent.”
