Booked for a family lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful meal, the food was very well cooked and presented. Sweets were very nice as well. Staff were exceptionally professional and very friendly which made for a lovely afternoon in very pleasant surroundings. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I booked this restaurant for a Christmas meal for 28 people. The restaurant had been recommended to me by friends who had been there before. There was an excellent choice of menu which was e mailed to me to preorder. The e mail response was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent and I...

Excellent tasty food, well cooked, hot plates, friendly helpful service. Cosy and inviting we received a warm welcome here on our first visit and we are already planning another., My venison was perfectly cooked and my wifes risotto was full og mushrooms. French onion soup was amongbthe best I have ever had.

We found The Coach House on a wet and windy October evening when hoping to find somewhere good to eat. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was closed, presumably for lack of customers though I can't imagine why. The friendly barman said we could eat in the pub which was cosy and had an excellent atmosphere. We were the only...

The only negative was breakfast we were expecting a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurts but disappointed to find only cereals were offered before the cooked breakfast which was cooked fresh to...

A last minute decision to go away for the weekend got us to the Coach House Inn in South Luffenham in Rutland. According to my booking confirmation we could not check in before 5pm which was not a problem. When we arrived the young lady explained the time for breakfast which was 9.30 at the latest and asked us if...

Spent a very enjoyable evening and overnight stay here with friends. Cant fault it - the food was excellent, especially the unusual but delicious turbot starter with onion bhajis! Very good menu - lots of choice - and everyone really loved their meals. Very good beers on tap too. The room at the top of the house was airy and...
