Had a lovely, home-cooked meal. Veggies were piping hot. There were lots of lovely, tempting choices on the menu. A good find. Service was good too. We would recommend a visit if you are staying in Brecon.

Fantastic service, lovely atmosphere. The food was good, nothing fancy, but done well and was enjoyable at a good price. A good sized pub so probably always a chance of getting a table. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

This is our 2nd visit. Must admit 1st visit was very slow service but we were so busy admiring the view sipping our drinks we weren't too bothered. Both times food has been excellent- portions are generous. Noticed locals here so obviously good reputation! Lovely views so try getting conservatory table-especially if you are deaf or hard of hearing as...

Stayed here when a friend was getting married at Peterson Court. It's perfect for it. You can walk to the wedding venue if you want to along the road, although there is no path. The staff are exceptionally friendly. We ate there on the Friday evening and I had the Lamb tagine with cous cous which was on the specials...

We stayed at the Peterstone Court Hotel next door but decided to eat here one night and it was well worth it! It was proper home cooked food and so plentiful that sharing a dessert was a struggle! Service was friendly and food came out quickly. I had the vegetable lasagne and swapped the chips for salad and my husband...

We came here having walked the Brecon Beacons circuit and we're greeted by a very friendly welcoming waitress. Unfortunately we booked a bit late so we were in the back room of the pub, whereas the front room has an incredible view; so it's worth booking in advance.  The menu was really extensive with a choice for everyone. I had...

Went for a walk in Wales then stopped here for a lunch on the way home. Had the lamb roast x3 and a beef roast. Gluten intolerance was well catered for, extremely generous portions, tasty, beautiful scenery and lovely service.

We were in room 1 which has gorgeous views over the Usk, the canal and Brecon Beacons. Following some gale damage the room had been replastered but they appear to have forgotten to replace towel rails, coat hooks and shelves in the bathroom. So expect to store your clothes and towels on the floor. The shower cubicle is the smallest...
