We recently stayed here for one night with our 2 dogs.
The hotel is very very welcoming to dogs and offers them dog blankets and treats and dogs are welcome to sit with their owners in the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Enjoyed a 3 night stay with delicious food. The menu included some good vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfasts were excellent and the dining facilities are comfortable.Rooms very comfortable and clean.

They definitely don't have any ground floor rooms at the moment - we were thinking of taking my Mother for a short break so I enquired whilst we were there. They will be developing the older buildings at the back and creating some ground floor accommodation then but nothing yet I'm afraid. (Stairs to the rooms are fairly easy if the individual can climb a normal staircase) No steps on the ground floor between bar, restaurant and outside.
