Went here for my wife's birthday, had set menu but still good choices. All food locally grown and sourced. Well cooked, lovely presentation. Most enjoyable lunch, nice atmosphere. Great, friendly service, we were not rushed despite it being quite busy.

They definitely don't have any ground floor rooms at the moment - we were thinking of taking my Mother for a short break so I enquired whilst we were there. They will be developing the older buildings at the back and creating some ground floor accommodation then but nothing yet I'm afraid. (Stairs to the rooms are fairly easy if the individual can climb a normal staircase) No steps on the ground floor between bar, restaurant and outside.
