The hut itself is extremely hot with only two substandard fans. There are LOADS of mosquitoes so make sure you ask for mosquito nets, as well as using your own sleeping sack as our entire group left with multiple bites (bedbugs). The toilet stinks of urine and remember to ask for toilet roll as this is not automatically provided. The...

I stayed in monkey island resort with two friends for 3 days. The bungalow for three cost 30usd per night, no breakfast included. The bungalows have no wi-fi nor electric outlets which encourages you to spend a lot of time in the major bungalow that serves as bar-center of operations for wi-fi and electricity. The bungalows are not particularly well...

We don't drink nor eat at bars so no idea about the food/alco but the bungalow was clean and nice, 25 dollars is not too bad if you're 2-3 people! Wifi worked for most of the time and mosquito nets were good and whole!

Private rooms sleeps 3, mattresses are surpringly comfortable compared to other bungalows on the island. You have your basic essentials; mosquito nets, (always use them) 2 room fans, (no need for a/c it can get quite chilly at night), pad lock for the room as well as a safe box and a private bathroom. The staff are very accommodating and...

Three of us stayed here for a few nights, the rooms are pretty basic and Koh Rong is expensive compared to the rest of Cambodia but the Aussie dude with long hair (sorry mate can't remember your name!) was great and looked after us from the moment we checked in. Was a bit inconvenient not having power in the room...

I might recommend this place - to someone I absolutely hated. When we checked in, the two shady fellows kept going on about how it was the safest resort on the island and "nothing has ever happened here". Yeah right. They gave my friend and I a massive padlock and key for the heavy duty lock box in our room...

A group of six of us stayed at Monkey Island for two nights in November 2016. The original staff member who assisted was friendly and managed to organise three beach front bungalows ($35 USD per bungalow, per night) on short notice. Despite being told the bungalows were only just cleaned, they appeared and smelt very dirty - not to mention...

I'm rating this poor due to the terrible service. We went here for dinner last night. Waited a while for menus before eventually giving up and going up to the bar to get them ourselves. Then we had to go back up to the bar to place our order. We were asked to pay upfront as we weren't staying at...

Monkey Island hosts a great collection of Bungalows right on the beach on the island of Koh Rong, situated a short walk from the action at night in the bars in the village yet still far enough away for some peace and quiet on the beach. Great for families and couples, and also for groups of backpackers looking for a...

Stayed in Monkey Island for 2 nights, should've stayed at least a day longer. It's located about 5 minutes away from the main town which is good because you're away from the noise, but still close by. It's a little bit of a struggle carrying bags from the ferry to the bungalow since you have to walk/drag through the sand....
