The cheaper accommodation is not great for couples because of the lack of privacy, but the big shared terrace is cool and a good place to meet other travellers. If staff are perhaps not as engaged as you might expect, don't forget that Soksan is a Cambodian fishing village first and a tourist resort second (for now). I want to...

Everything was perfect and as expected. Koh Rong has come a long way in the past few years and its great to still find an area of the Island I can still relax. The food in the area is amazing and the WIFI is still slow but its what we were looking for! If you really want to unwind and...

Awful staff! We got food poisoning from the restaurant and after a whole night with throwing up and toilet visit's we just got told that it wasn't from their restaurant and it was our health that was the problem. We ate other places with our friends and they didn't got sick When we asked what ice they used, they told...

Great place, weird staff, charge for anything. 15 dollar a night. Can't sleep. 1) beach flyes bite like hell 2) gecko screams all night in room 1 3) sea is loud, can't sleep. 4) boat trip is awesome! 5) do not rent scooter, not worth it! 6) food prices are good, italians are awesome people.

I loved this place. Bungalows were very simple but when you're on an island, simple is all you need. Great place to stay with a little shop with everything you need. I'd recommend eating elsewhere such as the Italian restaurant next door. Myself and others I met did not enjoy the food here. Pros-cheap (paid $7.50 usd per night), private...

Many of the other reviews mention dirty conditions and very basic amenities, both of which are true. However, this is to be expected as you are renting a wooden shack on the beach of a newly developing island! Compared to the crusty party vibes of Koh Touch this village is a real getaway. There may be some loud Kmher Karaoke...

It's our first time to be there. We've no plan to go there but we search online when we experience that room at Koh Rong is so expensive. They offer us free pick up and charge only $5 for 2 persons for the transfer back to Koh Rong pier. The owner is so nice and helpful. We really have a...

We arrived at Koh Rong main pier and soon realised it was not where we wanted to be. We picked up a taxi boat to sok San beach for $5 each and arrived at Angkor chom restaurant. At first the guy tried to get us to stay in a bungalow but when we explained we didn't have a lot of...

We booked a bungalow for $30 per night. We got a free taxi boat from the main drop off out on the island to take us to the quieter part of the island (offered by the staff at Angkor Chom) The bungalow itself was very spacious (2 double beds) and the bathroom was perfectly suitable. We had a table and...
