We stayed as a couple, just the one night. I was surprised and impressed by the proportions of the rooms, lovely and spacious. Just the right amount of furnishings. The big windows looking out onto the bushland were a treat. I think Kym has done a brilliant job of designing the lodge for comfort and relaxation and a sense of... More

The approach to Saladin Lodge is through the Black Spur, giving a taste of magnificent tree fern forest. As soon as you enter Saladin Lodge's driveway you will be looking in all directions to take in rustic timber sculptures, metal cow silhouettes and most likely a flock of grey kangaroos or king parrots. The Lodge itself features a vast space... More

We had a lovely stay here last weekend. Having Kim look after us made our stay at this beautiful lodge even better. Kim went to every effort to ensure our stay with a toddler was enjoyable - even cooking her a special meal, entertaining her with colouring pencils and paper and making up a different room for us when we... Superb hospitality from Kim, who is ever so helpful and a great cook of hearty and healthy food. Loved the comfortable warm room and clean bathroom but particularly loved the cosy lounge with glowing fires by which to sip a glass of wine and sample a delicious cheese platter. My four year old was welcomed too, which was much appreciated. We... More

We had a wonderful stay at this magnificent location. Our host, Kim made sure that the food was delicious, the fires kept us warm and the scenery soothed our souls. We walked amongst the mountain ash and relaxed around the fires. We will be visiting again.

Cosy fireplaces for those chilly winter days. Kim welcomes you in and instantly makes you feel at home. Perfect place for a break from the hussle and bussle of melbourne.

Beautiful setting with amazing farm lands around you, cozy spots to lounge by the fire with a nice bottle of something or a quiet cup of tea and some of Kim's baking. Had the most romantic getaway at Saladin lodge. Perfect location to visit all the attractions in the surrounding area at a stones throw.. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean with comfortable king bed. Wildlife and a lake made our walk around the property a perfect weekend. Enjoyied dinner and breakfast with the gorgeous host.
