The Peace and Plenty is a wonderful place to stay. Although, and unfortunately, we only stayed one night we were made to feel welcome and given great advice on our short stay in Auckland. Judy was the perfect hostess and we love Stanley the dog. Breakfast was delicious too. We highly recommend a stay and hope we will be back...

It has been six years since we originally stayed at Peace and Plenty, a lovely B & B perfectly located in Devonport. We thought it was perfect six years ago but the lovely hostess and owner, Judy, has redecorated every room and added a lovely breakfast area. The rooms are charming and the breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. The...

Judy, the owner, personnally welcomed us to Peace & Plenty, showed us to our room and was on hand whenever we wanted to answer any questions and provide us with local knowledge. Eg. places to visit in Davenport & Auckland; how best to get to Auckland and places to eat. Our room was excellant and my husband particularly enjoyed drinking...

This is certainly a gorgeous house in a great location. We probably just picked the wrong room (Devonport), but when we arrived there was a strong damp smell. During our 28 day stay in New Zealand, we stayed at the Peace and Plenty four different times. We began our vacation with two days here, ended it with two days here, and enjoyed two other days in-between different destinations. It has truly been our "home away from home" during our stay and it couldn't have been better. Judy, the...

This was our last stop on our honeymoon in New Zealand and I'm so glad we decided to stay at the Peace and Plenty in Devonport. Judy is so great!! So sweet, funny, knowledgable about so much of that area: she gave the greatest insight to help us plan out our couple of days there in the Auckland area. Our...
