Just paid our forth visit to this quiet retreat. Very restful, quiet location, rural setting with fine food.ideal for walkers, lovers of the country side and close to Chatsworth and bake well. The house is full of old world charm as it date suggests.

The staff are very friendly, welcoming & helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent with menu changes each evening & is accompanied by a first class glass of wine. The rooms are comfortable though a little tired but clean.

We recently has a large birthday party at this delicate little gem. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was a wide variety of food in which everyone was catered for. The only fault we could pick was the fact there was no beer or larger on draft. Otherwise it was a great meal out, great staff and a well...

This was our first visit to Biggin Hall on the recommendation of friends. Just set back from the main street through the village and only minutes from the main Ashbourne to Buxton road, the hotel is easy to find. On entering this ancient building we were struck by the friendly ambiance and old world charm. We were shown into one...

We stayed here for the third time, this time with friends. I'm pleased to say nothing has changed. Same lovely rooms, super food, great hospitality. I left a few items behind and the hotel kindly posted them back to me with no fuss. We'll continue to return to this little oasis.

A last minute decision to stop in the Peak District left us struggling to find accommodation, but we were so lucky that Biggin Hall had vacancies. A charming building, furnished in an old fashioned but classy style, the rooms are well sized and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and the pigs and chickens in the garden were a bonus! We...

The hotel is warm, comfortable and staffed by really friendly people. It has an old world charm with modern facilities in the bedrooms. The dinners on an evening are excellent and packed lunches included in the price. We will certainly stay here again.
