It was great stay. Very clean and spacious. If planning family trip, its a good place to stay. Also there is a bbq grill at the balcony, so my family was able to enjoy bbq, even in winter. Great stay! Enjoyed staying in Banff Gate Mountain Resort.

Clean mountain chalets. Not very modern, but very cozy. With all necessary amenities, like towels, bedding, full kitchen, swimming pool, hot tub. Beautiful location, close to Canmore and Banff. Definitely recommended, with of without kids.

Walk into cabin, ketchup on table, clothes from previous guest on floor, toilet dirty, hair in bed, mattress cover had blood on it, jet tub can't be used, I had to clean toilet and remake beds. Pool closed. Will never stay here again.

Large cabin, views were spectacular. However, I noticed some comments that the cabins were in a bit of did repair before we booked. But the comments were old, and I assumed the issues were addressed. We arrived to discover that we could not use the in cabin jacuzzi tub, as there was a note that it leaked. The young girl...

Tucked in off the Trans Canada Hwy, this resort offers superb views, being tucked in a valley between the mountains - the views are spectular at all times of the day. Chalet is comfortable with all appliances (big and small) provided - only have to supply groceries and beverages, which can be obtained in Canmore, just 15 minutes away -...

My husband and I stayed here Sept 17-24. Though the cabin is rustic, it suited our needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. It's far enough from Canmore to be quiet but close enough for a short drive in to enjoy the town. The resort has an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna room which we thoroughly...

It has indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. The beautiful view of the mountain make you want to just stay here and enjoying it. Don't expect a shangri la. After all this place is a ski chalet, it has a fire place but no air conditioning in the summer. Not far from Banff. Grocery store in Canmore is only about...

This resort consists of thirty -eight 2 bedroom cabins and two 3 bedroom units, all with an additional fold out bed on the main floor. Each of these two storey cabins has 2 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchens with newer appliances. The décor is mostly unfinished cedar on the inside and roughly stained planking on the outside. The...

The grounds are pretty and you are south of Canmore off Dead Man's Flats exit. The cabins are in much need of an update from the early 70's. Moderately rustic would be the description. Tiles in the bath broken, sloping floors, maintenance needed throughout. My bed was comfortable though but our cabin slept "8". Our teens could not fit 2 on...

Hi Kim O, Thank you for your review. We apologize that you weren't able to fit two per bed as advertised. Both the pull out couch and the murphy bed have double mattresses.
