Friendly staff went the extra mile to provide braai facilities and outdoor seating to our group. Rooms well equiped with excellent linen. The restaurant serves a mean breakfast. Overall a very satisfying stay.

Only ever having seen the main road in Middelburg as one drives through on your way to the Cape, our stopover in Middelburg exceeded our expectations by far! The staff was very friendly and capable. Our accommodation consisted of two lovely rooms, with a bathroom. Everything was spotless and the décor tastefully done. The on-site restaurant is a definite plus....

Our stay was a real pleasure. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and help with my wheelchair was available and we were in time for lunch. The Lamb chops special was a treat. Didnt have space for sweets. We retired to our neat comfortable room. Woke up the next morning refreshed and had a huge breakfast before we were on...

What a gem in the Karoo! We slept at Celtis Country Lodge on our way back form PE to Bloemfontein. All four the rooms were very spacious and convenient. The biggest surprise was the restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, the atmosphere so nice and reasonable priced. The lamb chops were my favorite. A very convenient stop-over.

On our way home, staying over in Middelburg Karoo at a self catering, we asked the host to recommend a decent place to have supper, as we had a long and tiresome trip and just wanted to relax before travelling home the next day. Celtis was recommended. My husband ordered the crumbed pork chops, chips and onion rings. When the...
