It was so gross there was Black mold on the wood by the window and on the tap on the bedroom. The carport was also very sticky and I felt weird when I walk around the room. The door also did not close all the way. On my bed all I had was one big blanket. NEVER stay here.

We, a family of 6, used Grouse Inn as as night stop for an early morning ferry crossing to Vancouver Island, after a 6 hour car journey from Vernon over a snow covered mountain pass. The staff at reception were very friendly and efficient and we entered our rooms tired. The rooms were basic, but adequate, warm and clean, with tea/coffee making...

This is a good no frills hotels which serves a decent breakfast to get your day started. Rooms are clean and well equipped. We stayed in a queen room and a suite and both were good for the cost. Staff were very helpful, especially the elderly person at the reception.

We've stayed there a few times so we know what to expect in general. The rooms in general are quite large and clean, however the wifi is questionable (cutting out often), the phone didn't work, the heating in room 109 wasn't controlled by the thermostat but by a knobless controller on the electric baseboard. Room 109 was also very dark...

This place was very out dated. The room smelled really bad. And dirty even when checking out of the hotel we found a kids boot under the edge of the bed. The heater in the main room was so rusted I think I could have gotten tetanus just looking at it. The area around it did not make me feel...

We stayed here for 1 night, just as a quick, inexpensive hotel to simply sleep in; we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, informative and pleasant and the rooms were clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. The bed was average, though I slept above the covers; my fiancée slept under the covers and had no issues to report. Beds were clean...

Room was nice. Clean, quiet and close to restaurants . Good value for the money. Only issue was the girl at checkout could have been more friendly. Didn't appreciate her comments because their debit machine was having trouble accepting my credit card. After several attempts it finally worked. An apology would have worked instead of making me feel like I...

Spacious and well cleaned room by Housekeeping. Very decent place. Front Desk and miscellaneous staff is very courteous as well as Manager. It is just steps away from main avenue and bus stop and minutes away from main attractions in the area as well as a few minutes ride from Vancouver downtown. Very good and fair value for the rate.

A good price and a good spot to go venturing thru the city. I am glad i spoke French, it impressed the owner of the place that someone from so close to Mexico can get across various things. I say stay for the price and get your adventuring minds going as you have a safe place to stay in the...
