Have stayed here for years and was wonderful then. This year was a complete 360 degree turn around. It was horrible. We continually had children running through our site at all hours ( this is attributed to parents who would rather party than parent). They were actually running into you. It was not safe for them or my father who...

We lucked out on a beach site ( without reservation) which I hear is rare. There are tent sites with cabanas - fridge sink etc which is a nice touch....the Rv sites are jammed in though...too many I think. BUT! The beach is private and very nice. The owners are awesome, helpful, friendly and invited us back. Nice to see...

Stumbled upon this place by accident. We were just looking for a place to pitch a tent for the night, then were offered a "cabana". Each cabana has its own fridge, picnic table, sink and and rudimentary cabinets...a nice change of pace from regular campgrounds. The tents sites are level and the communal washrooms/showers are kept very clean. A good...

Best family vacation ever! We had another amazing summer holiday here again this year. No place like it. My whole family all love it here and the owners Allison and Gary could not be more helpful to all your needs while there, they are awesome! We look forward to 2016 at Cabanna Beach!

We had booked for 3 nights but checked out after one. The main reason was that the sites are so small, you are right next door to your neighbour. Ours played cards until midnight and our tent was about a metre away from their table, we basically laid awake listening to laughing and swearing until they went to bed. I...

We were invited by friends to join them on their camping trip. We lucked out and got a cancellation last minute right on the lake. These sites are literally in front of the lake with private beach access (lake front sites have their own stairs leading to the beach). The beach is a private beach just for the campsite so...

This was my first time camping and I loved my stay at Cabana beach. The owners and staff were so welcoming and great people to talk to. Coming from England, being so close to nature (the lake) was amazing, and although the heat was a little too much on some days, the lake was amazing to cool down in and...

Excellent camp site. We just finished our trip here. The kitchen cabana made my life easier. As a mom on my own I didn't have to deal with a cooler. Shopped at a local family grocery store and put our groceries in the fridge. Running water and a sink was also very handy for doing dishes. The cabana was a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Operates approx May 15 - Sept 15 each summer. A small, family-run campground located on Osoyoos Lake, near the Town of Osoyoos in BC Canada. Established in the 1960's this campground has always catered to families, seniors, couples and single travellers. The campground accepts tents, small/medium-sized RVs and also offers to those needing a simple budget sleeping unit several camping cabins and bedroom cabanas - these rooms comes with beds, mattresses, lights, electricity, a fridge, sink, mini-stove, and outdoor patio (weekly stays only in summer). Although an older park, Cabana Beach Campground has unique features that you will not likely find at older/rustic or provincial campsites : the 3-sided "kitchen cabana" shelters come with a picnic table, sink, light, and elec outlet and are included at most of the tent sites, with optional fridge rental available. Some modern amenities are also:fully tiled, coin-op showers, free use of central wifi, free use of air-compressor hose to quickly fill up your air-beds, bike tires, and all your floating water toys. Park owners live on-site. This park has strictly enforced common-sense campsite rules - No noise or behaviours which annoy or disturb other campers. For this reason, radios or tv's must be off by 10 pm, and "quiet time" is at 11 pm . There is one (perhaps) unusual rule - No Dogs are accepted. No fires either - but the main reason is there is often a complete regional fire-ban all summer long. Campers can still bring a propane fire pit. Also a campstove or barbecue for grilling! ... more   less

“The sites next to the orchard seem a little quieter.”
MelanieP1, 2 Sep 2014 | Read review
“- The cabanas facing the beach have a lot of foot traffic during the day (kids running up and down the path, people going to the beach), so we always get a Cabana facing south looking at the orchard. It's quieter, and feels a little more secluded. - Bring an umbrella for shade, or you'll burn your skin off - Keep your tent cool by hanging a tarp over top, and/or bringing a fan”
