A group of us enjoy coming to Nk'mip for a 3 night break each summer. It seems to be a difficult task for this resort to commit the required number of sites next to each other, even if booking several months in advance. On this trip one of our group was a fair distance away, even while sites adjacent to...

The overall campground is very clean and well maintained The washrooms are clean and tidy. They do charge for the showers but for one $1.00 there was a lot of time, in fact ,I turned it off before the end of the time. I would not recommend the beach area camping as it is quite crowded and the beach is...

We booked four couples into Nk'mip 4 months in advance and when it got closer to the date I called to confirm our sites as we were wanting to be all in one area and as close together as possible. I was told by the front desk employee that they could not guarantee us a site unless we booked 14...

Let's be clear, this is not a campground! This is a sardine tin for RVs!!! The best part is that you're right on the lake with easy access to a few small beaches. A nice little playground for the kids and a couple small fields to play soccer or frisby etc. There's a year round fire ban, but you can...

We were nervous to make the 5 hour drive here after reading some not great reviews, but am pleased to say it's a GREAT place. Perhaps we lucked out with a nice campsite over looking the water (albeit very narrow) however; we can't see what's not to like? The staff was friendly & helpful upon check in. The bathrooms are...

We have been going to this campground with other families for many years and it just keeps getting worse every year! We asked for our friends to be beside us and was told that was not possible. As it turns out the site beside us turned over every other day we were there for the entire week and would not...

We have camped here many times before. We love the place. The lake, ten feet from your camping spot if you are lucky enough to get a spot on the water, is so kid friendly. Shallow, warm and lovely. The kids can puddle and there are no drop offs that I am aware of. 100 yards out, still not over...

I heard Nk' Mip Campground was crowded, but it was worse than I imagined. Large trailers crammed into tenting sites. The front desk staff indicated it was first come first serve, but then moved people into larger and waterfront sites that arrived after we did. We were lied to and shuffled around, near ruining our family camping trip. I can...

After reading numerous reviews prior to arrival, I couldn't believe that things could be that bad... We took a chance and found that the bad reviews were being generous. The check in process was painful. We were there just before 1PM and found a lineup in front of a single employee. This is their primary check in time and they...
