The Lodge is the perfect place to settle in and check out the area. We rode our bikes to Banff via the Legacy Trail and the bike trails in Canmore along the Bow River are endless. Breakfasts were amazing....homemade granola, warm bread, delicious quiches and fresh squeezed orange juice-couldn't be a better way to start each day. The greetings by...

The lodge itself is stunning. The design, the local artwork, the rooms - all incredible. It's a very special place if you're lucky enough to stay here. They have bikes on hand to borrow which is the best way to explore Canmore! The staff is fantastic and very knowledgeable. I attended a cooking class, which they do every so often...

Sara and Thomas are incredibly generous, kind and authentic. The Paintbox speaks to a mountain aesthetic that is calming, caring and genuine. The staff is informative and fun and know the area and all it has to offer. Once you are there you will never want to leave!

I spent three nights here in the Wild Suite with my sister and a cousin - mini family reunion! Our Suite was fabulous; comfy beds, warm bedding and a feature I love in a hotel, motel or B&B - windows that could be opened to let in the fresh mountain air. Breakfasts were fantastic; the staff went out of their...

The Paintbox Lodge is a hidden gem in Canmore. My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway from Calgary and the Paintbox more then delivered. Incredibly comfortable beds (best sleep in months), amazing homemade breakfasts and very knowledgable and friendly staff made our stay memorable. This is a place we will be returning to many times over.

This our second time at Paintbox Lodge, the first was seven years ago! With the addition of the breakfast, the room value is now better than ever. Location is great within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Breakfast selection was excellent with it all made on site. Will definitely stay here again.
