My husband and I loved the charm of this house and stayed 4 nights. Our bed was comfy, our host prepared excellent gourmet breakfasts every morning. He and his wife made our visit much more memorable, we got great recommendations on local restaurants to try and we were walking distance to all of them. i spent some time shopping antiques,...

We enjoyed the special treatment that Gerry has to offer his guests when we stayed at 1875 A Charters Inn this past weekend. Our host was very welcoming, and recommended unique restaurants and local sights to compliment our visit to Midland. The breakfasts on the sunny front verandah each morning were extraordinary, and Gerry offered tips to make sure we...

Wanted to stay overnight in town to go to the buttertart festival. Nice B & B. Friendly and accommodating people. Convenient check in/out at noon. We stayed in the room with the closet toilet...literally. Great place, great people, great rates

Firstly I'd like to thank Gerry for his wonderful hospitality over the Thanksgiving long weekend. To be honest A Charters Inn wasn't our original first choice of B&B in Midland, but our previous favourite has closed down so we went on the hunt for a new 'home away from home'. The previous reviews for A Charters Inn were pretty compelling...

Quite simply the best B&B I have ever experienced. Arriving mid-afternoon, we were given a guided tour of the premises by the owner Gerry. He is a super chef, but is quite happy for his guests to cook their own meals in his kitchen. He is very charismatic and it is quite clear that he and his lovely wife Valerie...

We've haf the big pleasure to spend a night in this wonderful b&b. Gerry was very welcoming and told us where what we should see and where we could have a nice dinner. The breakfast the other morning was a dream! We've felt super spoiled and truely enjoyed the service and the super yummie food. It's really worth it to...

I enjoyed my stay at this B&B, the owner was welcoming and charismatic; he made sure that I had everything I needed. The food was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable. The B&B is also located close to shops and restaurants, which is convenient.

3rd time I have had the distinct pleasure of staying at this incredible B&B. Have gone to work in Midland and have stayed there each time. The most recent was for 5 nights. Stayed in the Captain's Quarters. Fabulous and comfy room with all the amenities and a kitchenette so I could prepare my own meals at day's end. The...

Lovely B&B situated a couple of minutes walk from Georgian Bay. Mine host is Gerry, who has a great sense of humour and is a great chef. Enjoyed every minute of our stay there (9 days). Will definitely return!
