Check in was great, room was nice. Shower was lovely. It was clean, and quiet until maid service was on the floor cleaning other rooms. Breakfast is open and can be purchased either through a room rate or separately. Most expensive item is Eggs Benedict at $13.99 which includes a side. The biggest thing I would say is that women travelling alone may not want to stay here. There is parking (extra charge) but it is down an alley and there is no security in the parking garage or in the alley. You must walk back to the hotel and use the key card to get back into the hotel. These doors are not near the check-in desk and there is no personnel. Just an entrance and to the right the elevators to the rooms.

I've stayed several times in this hotel when I've been in town on business, and have always been happy to be a repeat guest. This evening I arrived after a very long and hectic travel day to find my wallet was missing. Sanam at the front desk went to great lengths to find a way to satisfy their protocols while allowing me to check in and I'm deeply grateful that he was able to find a solution. A hallmark of good service is the ability to find a way to aid your guests while navigating the spirit and the letter of the law so to speak. I was clearly in a bind and Sanam was a consummate professional, respecting both my situation and the need to properly confirm my identity and also place the standard deposit. He was courteous, kind and patient. Sometimes crazy things happen and you either run into service staff who invest in your situation, or you don't. I consider myself very lucky that the former happened this evening at the Crowne Plaza Kitchener. Five stars before I've even spent a night.

I normally stay in the area when on business but my usual hotel was full. I chose to stay at the Kitchener Crowne Plaza because it was near my usual hotel. The night started with a full scale domestic brawl in the hallway outside my door which went on for 15 minutes. It was partially entertaining but unsettling at the same time. Around midnight, a girl in the adjoining rooms starts to serenade all guests on the balcony while her man “beat boxes” out the rhythm (seriously), this act continued for 20 minutes at which point then went inside and she proceeded to serenade us again in a much less rhythmic, but moaning manner. The cycle of balcony singing and bedroom antics continued until 4:30 AM as I drifted in and out of consciousness. None of these acts reflect directly on the hotel, but I am not willing to gamble another $140 and a nights sleep on another stay here.

Worst hotel I have ever been to.. The communication in between the hotel management and staff members is literally not even substandard but below par.. they have no idea what they are doing.. moreover the safety is one of the concerns here.. some staff members are not wearing the mask while on duty. Noise is another issue.. discrimination here has some level too! When it comes to the customer service, to be very honest, highway motels are way better than this place.. think more than twice if you’re planning to stay here, that’s all I can say!

The hotel appears very nice in the lobby, but the room was terrible. I went with my partner for a nice weekend and this hotel negatively effected our weekend. The bed dipped in the middle therefore we got little to no sleep. This hotel is in an unsafe area and I would not recommend it.
