Our stay at Bacchus House was delightful. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt right at home. They have a great board game and DVD selection. Breakfast was delicious, and the home is beautifully decorated. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. It was more like staying at a hotel, as the hosts stay on an... More

My parents live in Collingwood and my wife and I needed a nearby place to stay during a family visit. Bacchus House was a five minute walk from their home - right in the center of town. The place is fantastic. Spotless, beautiful and very comfortable. Andy and Annette are real pros and delightful folks. We will be back for... More

Our two night stay at Bacchus with friends was delightful from beginning to end. Andy and Annette were the consummate hosts and their considerable experience in the restaurant and service industry shines through. The rooms were beautiful and well appointed with attention to details such as fine linen and amenities. The cozy common area with fireplace was perfect for sipping... More

I visited Bacchus House to re-connect with an old friend and chose Collingwood as it is half way between both of our homes. The B&B is a beautiful old home done in the Victorian Style. Annette allowed us to check in early so we met there then walked the short distance to the downtown for lunch. When we came back... More

We stayed at the Bacchus House in early October and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was comfortable and the service was excellent. Our hosts took care of all our needs and fed us a scrumptious breakfast. We will return.

We really enjoyed our anniversary weekend at Bacchus House. It's a beautiful home, and within walking distance to downtown Collingwood. We were well cared for, and enjoyed Annette's stories of their past jobs in the hospitality industry. These folks have a lot of experience and stamina! The breakfasts were really delicious and carried us through most of the day. Even... More

We stayed at the Bacchus House for two nights in August. It was our first time staying in a B&B and we loved it! From the minute we arrived, Annette and Andy were friendly, hospitable, helping, and accommodating. Our room was a great temperature and was gorgeous. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it!... More

The building is gorgeous. I felt like I was in a smaller version of a great English manor home. The sitting room is gorgeous. Like an old English library. Rooms are named after wine varieties. We booked them all and each was a treasure to explore. Beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets/linens were high count. Access to downtown was... More

Annette was excited to tell us about all the great things to do in the area-which is quite beautiful on the south Georgian Bay. She gave us some great restaurant recommendations as well (especially Brunello which is walking distance from the B&B). The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable, appointed in an opulent turn-of-the century style with a tasty... More
