OK room, but AC was very loud and windows were sealed. Our room was not ready until 3 pm, when was the official check-in time. We had to wait at an ice cream place across the street. Bed was ok, but sleep was not good as it was really hot and we couldnèt have the AC running all night due...

Stayed here last night. Check in was easy and the gentleman manning the front desk advised us on how to get downtown and to Sunset Point park. We had read on various sites that this hotel had been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and, as architecture buffs, we were pretty excited at the prospect. We did Google Wright's buildings and...

I have written a previous review concerning this historical property. We were there again a couple of weeks ago, along with 4 other family members. They also loved the quaintness of the rooms being just as they were in the 50's ! Very clean and the beds are amazing. The room darkening blind/drape combination made it very easy to sleep...

I was part of a cycling group and had a single room. The building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright but may have lost some of the interiors he designed. The rooms are a decent size and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are simple but very clean. They still use keys with heavy brass room tags....

Clean and comfy, quiet and rooms are nice, just a need of upgrading the room access which will be best using cards, instead of keys will show a type of improvement. The staff is nice, the breakfast hours could be longer, i did not get to try it because over slept due the comfiness of the bed.

Bath tub / shower disgusting, decided against using it (stayed only one night anyway). ... Door deadlock's framing has been compromised / kicked in! (same with many of the rooms, see attached image) - we did not feel safe in the room. ... We were the only guests in the entire facility. Saw only one staff; too chatty / not...

The mariner motel is a quiet and Very clean little motel with brand new beds which are very comfortable. Staff was lovely and continental breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Good location right on Hume. Great little discount motel.

I booked a room with the Marinier but unfortunately had a family emergency the day of, and so I gave them a call to see if they could possibly make an exception to their policy for us and allow us to change (not cancel) the reservation to the following week. The lady on the phone said that they would be...

I don't understand the negative comments about this motel at all. It is decorated just the way it would be in the 50's with lots of original furniture made in Collingwood. Elvis stayed there - thus the popular Elvis gathering in that city. The original method of heating the motel was fascinating to us, and worked just fine. We slept...

My husband and I stayed here for the Family Day weekend. I am not sure where the negativity on this place is coming from. The husband and wife owners were very friendly, some guests were not as polite. The room was clean, the breakfast was what one would expect from a continental breakfast, our room was clean, wifi was fast, and...
