Made a same day booking over the phone with Cathryn, wanting to break up the trip from Ottawa to Toronto. What a find! Cathryn is a lovely and gracious host and has one of the most unique backgrounds I have ever encountered. The room (Gatsby) was clean and comfortable. My wife and I loved the access to the back porch...

My husband and I have stayed here every time we come to Cobourg, for years. Cathryn remembers us every time. She always welcomes all of her guests warmly, with genuine interest in where they're from, etc etc. The house itself is charming and beautiful and homey, with her sweet cats. Cathryn serves an amazing breakfast every morning- she is a...

Travelling with family from the UK, I booked us in at this historical (circa 1840) B&B. Several spacious rooms on two levels, a huge breakfast room, well laid out and serving up a splendid breakfast, a meal you wouldn't find anywhere else. Ground floor room has a kitchenette and a porch leading to the spacious grounds. Pet friendly too. We...

We arrived by bicycle from Toronto . Katherine greeted us warmly and showed us to our room on the main floor which was gigantic and beautiful. We enjoyed a walk into town for dinner and back along the Cobourg trails after dinner . Breakfast was excellent and huge. We will definitely return if we are passing through Cobourg again.

Beautiful heritage house. Gracious welcome. Super breakfast. Utterly delightful. Katherine is the perfect host. Worth a detour to Cobourg, which has its own charm. Great beach, fine old Victorian houses, good brewpub.

We have recently stayed twice here and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The house itself is grand and gorgeous with lots of space, books etc. As far as I could tell, our room didn't have a television so if that is something you want you should check ahead. Service was excellent. The breakfast was...

Pulled in late on a Tuesday evening, had a great room on the main floor and was given very clear directions to restaurants in the downtown area. Cathryn was a gracious hostess and served us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The bed was very comfortable, pillows perfect and the shower was a treat. We had a small kitchen area...
