We really enjoyed our visit to this Bed and Breakfast. The host Cheryl just could not do enough for us, every little detail was taken care of. The breakfast was one of the best breakfast's we ever had with the variety, freshness, flavour and presentation was beautiful. I cannot wait to go back to North Sydney just to stay there... More

A couple of weeks ago, while visiting Nova-Scotia, we stayed at the Chamber's Guest House. This is the second time we stop by this great B&B. Our last visit goes back to 2011 while we were on our way to Newfoundland. At the time, we were so charmed by the experience that we promised ourselves to drop by Cheryl's place... More

Stayed two separate nights here, before and after the ferry to Newfoundland. Lovely, warm feeling as we entered the home and met Cheryl. She is very welcoming with afternoon refreshments, restaurant recommendations, a lovely, comfortable room, and an outstanding breakfast with lots of choices, including scones, muffins, jams, eggs, fruit, and homemade maple syrup!

Stayed here on our way back from Newfoundland. Very good location and easy to find. We were 2 couples travelling together. We had 2 rooms on the second floor. Ours had a balcony overlooking the gardens. What a nice place to enjoy an afternoon glass of wine. Cheryl had wine, cheese, crackers, chocolate, fresh blueberries and nuts on a hallway... More

My husband and I stayed with Cheryl on a Saturday night after a marathon drive from Quebec City. I just knew I would love the inside of the house as the garden was incredible! She met us at the door with home made wine, cheese and crackers and my favourite...chocolates! Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy any of her offerings as we... More

If you are ever in the area and need a place to stay, you should DEFINTELY stay at Chamber's. Cheryl is EXTREMELY accommodating and such an amazing host. Breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a place of stay. The room was clean and incredibly unique. I was given a totally private little area with tea, wine,... More

We stayed in a beautiful room with a private bath - flat screen TV - everything we needed. Cheryl (the owner) makes the most incredible breakfast of any B&B we have ever experienced. For example: fresh fruit cocktail for starters laced with yogurt and tiny handful of granola. Individual quiches that were delicious. Home made waffles accompanied with homemade maple... More

Cheryl is a fantastic host. Her house is beautiful and full of interesting antiques. The breakfast spread is out of this world. We loved having the private deck off our room and used it everyday. We also loved the evening wine and snacks and found it was a great way to socialize with other guests. Cheryl is kind and friendly... More

A beautiful older home with outstanding gardens. The house and gardens are filled with unique large and small artifacts tastefully placed. Wine and cheese was served in the afternoon and the breakfast was wonderful with many menu items to choose from, well prepared and attractively presented. Cheryl was very organized with information provided about wifi and other features.

This is a great value B&B in a nice old house with the most beautiful garden we have seen in eastern Canada. The house is furnished in antique style but the conveniences are definitely modern. The breakfast cooked by Cheryl is all home-made and had a different hot dish every morning. It was lovely to stop for three nights in... More
