I stayed at the lodge in January for one night. I had a late check in as this was only a quick night stay The heat in the room is baseboard heaters and was not turned on all day. At 6 pm my room was freezing. It took until bed time until I was warm. While very picturesque, the sliding... More

Our rooms were (12&13) beautiful. Big and ideal for our family. We had the kingsize suite in the main photos, with a stone fireplace dominating the spacious room. Would have been a fabulous place for a romantic getaway. (But we have kids lol) next door the two oldest kids had double beds each. We both had balconies and big rooms.... More

We had a really nice stay here. The room was nicely updated, clean and modern. Our only (very) minor complaint was that there could have been more lamps around the bed. They accommodated our dog with no problem. A real gem in Terrace, which is filled with mediocre motels.

The Lodge at Skeena Landing is a charming boutique hotel surrounded by the natural forest of Northern BC. I stayed in a large suite with a wood-burning fireplace and a very large deck. The view was directly into the forest and was truly restful. Though deep in the woods, this hotel is close to downtown and to restaurants. In fact,... More

Nice big rooms, nicely furnished, very clean, feels upmarket to start with but even more so because of size. Nice location, set amongst trees. Much better than chain hotels. Nice reception. Always try and stay here, usually booked.

overall not a bad place to stay, all things considered. Not alot of great places to stay in Terrace. clean, large rooms, ditch the comforters, everyone hates these and get the three sheet method, way cleaner feeling. not alot of enthusiasm from the front desk

Friendly, clean, accommodating, good rates for the size and updating of the rooms - only negative comments - could use a new tub (cirq 1970) to match the rest of the updating and no breakfast but c'est la vie - only place to stay in Terraca IMO!

I am not quite sure what to say about this place. It was a pleasant change from the typical econobox chain inns that seem to dominate the B.C. interior. The room we had was large, comfortable and freshly redecorated. Signage was confusing, but we eventually found our way to the bar at Blackstone's Restaurant for check-in (part of the same... More

Stayed there 28 years ago so feared an out of date hotel....not. Re: an earlier comment I agree the receptionist totally lacked any charm but no harm no foul. The rooms have the feel of a ski chalet and the fireplace only enhanced the charm. The 2 key points...beds comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Price seems silly for... More

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night this week of August 20th, 2012. The concept is good. It is nesseled in the forest of British Columbia and I had a huge deck facing the forest . That part was nice. Where they fail and lose marks is at checkin. Their is really a lack luster welcome and the lady... More

“Room 11 is right beside the very loud air intake vents which hummed all night! Not to mention every time someone flushed their toilet or the water pressure changed the toilet in the room would start circulating water...awful for light sleepers. On top of thus there s zero customer service. You'd be better off staying in town at the Sandmann or Best Western!”
