We stayed for two nights in this family hotel. Everything is ery spacious. Corridors, rooms, staircases and so on. Lot's of ice and vending machines all around. The rooms were quite noisy though. We slept on the fourth floor overlooking the gardens and the lake. This is how the hotel is build, almost all rooms have magnificent view. Although situated...

This place is just weird. It sure was a superhotel when it was built 40 years ago and kept most of its charm. The rooms are big, the garden worth strolling, the lake superb, the restaurant made a delicious burger and the indoor pool with its Titantic theme is..well...special...But everything is just 1985... No air conditioning, no wifi except in...

We opened the curtains when we walked into the room and had a 'wow' moment when the view was revealed. Our room faced the lake and was framed by the other wings of the hotel. We ended up spending most of our time on the balcony looking at it. The beds were very comfortable and the room well maintained. The...

Ghost town was interesting. Lots of things for everyone to do. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were quite nice. View was amazing. Restaurant was average and a little pricey. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel.

Yes, it's a little dated. They could replace the tube tvs with flatscreen, buy some new bedding and slap a few new coats of paint everywhere. But this place is full of character, you've got to stay at least a night! The view is amazing, and every time you drive down #1 you can point out that you stayed there....

The hotel is looking like it's in need of some TLC. The rooms themselves were fine and served their purpose (as a 1-night stop-over). It's clear that the late owners of this hotel put a lot of time and effort into this hotel. Unfortunately, it now looks like it is a little tired. The museum attached to the hotel has...

Okay, here's the thing: I'm not sure what people's expectations of a place like this is. So, let's get this out of the way: This place is old. I have driven past this hotel over 100 times (and that's not an exaggeration) since I have been a child and it looks the same since the first day I drove past...

I had passed this red-roofed hotel many, many times as a child and thought how beautiful it was. Situated in 3 Valley Gap it offered stunning views and the typical black-ink lake of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Finally I booked a stay in Aug 2016. The family-run hotel has seen better days, that's for sure. The room was clean, but...

The hotel is very old, dated and has a funny smell. The furniture in the rooms has seen better days, exterior in need of repair. This hotel is in desperate need of renovating. The noise is horrible, trains on one side, highway on the other. We were informed that there was no air conditioning but were unable to keep the...

Ok we've always admired this hotel every time we drove past on previous vacations. So we decided to stay this year. Wow what a disappointment! This hotel is so old and never been updated. The rooms were so over priced for what they were and also dark and dingy. Either than the lovely view from our room we felt like...
