We decided to revisit Port Alberni this past weekend and booked with The Roses Bed & Breakfast. It has been quite a few years since we were last there and were happily surprised to find that Rose and Al were still running their B&B. Just like the first time, we experienced such a warm and friendly reception that we were... More

The room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect, the hosts were perfect. Al and Rose drove us to dinner, dropped us off at the boat harbor, picked us up after our cruise, picked us up after dinner. Nothing was a problem for them. We had the room downstairs which worked really well for us, a large room with private bathroom.... More

We had a fabulous stay at Rose's Bed and Breakfast during our recent visit to Port Alberni. Our hosts Rose & Al were first class and they were very hospitable. Their home was spotless and the amenities were great. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which was fantastic. We will be returning upon our next visit to Port... More

My wife and I, along with our 2 friends, chose this property after a personal recommendation, and we loved our stay. The hosts, Al and Rose, were very friendly and we really enjoyed our visit with them. The breakfast was excellent and served at the agreed upon time. The house was beautifully maintained and we would not hesitate to recommend... More

A great stay with Rose and Al, very friendly hosts. Bedrooms clean and tidy, comfy beds, good ventilation in the bedroom on a hot evening. Rose and Al were very helpful with dinner recommendations, and breakfast the next morning was very fresh and tasty with good choices. Rose and Al you would be very welcome to stay at my house... Rose and Al were among the most hospitable hosts we've had in our travels. Comfortable accomodations in their lower level and wonderful breakfasts. They went above and beyond in their efforts to be helpful, driving us to the harbor for our boat excursion and pcking us up again, giving travel guidance to area attractions. We'd go back in a second.

We have been staying with Rose and Al for years now. From our first time to this current stay, they have made us feel at home. The rooms are spotless, the sun room is cheery, the grounds on their property are very pretty. Love the flowers and the bear sculpture in the yard. Breakfast is great and the extras can't... More

The title of my post sums up my stay better than anything lengthier, but I'll try. This is truly like staying at your grandma's house - complete with decor circa 1980s (or early 1990s). You may love or hate this depending on your preferences. We stayed in the basement "suite" which is a bedroom in their basemen and had use... More

We really enjoyed our three-night stay at the Roses Bed and Breakfast. Rose and Al were perfect hosts. In addition to the exceptional breakfasts and good conversation, they offered an abundance of information to help us enjoy our trip. At their suggestion, we altered our trip on the Lady Rose Marine freighter to a different day to get to see... More

We (german couple) stayed 3 nights at Roses and Alberts B&B. We enjoyed it so much! Really nothing to complain about! We soon felt like being with friends and we learned so much about the area and the country. Rose and Al: we will always keep you in mind. Thank you!
