Very clean rooms, beds are very comfortable and the staff is awesome. Nice salt water pool and hot tub and also a great area for kids to play.

We arrived at the Villa Motel rather jaded after quite a long drive. The young guy at the reception, who greeted us, was very helpful and offered us a quiet room above the indoor pool. The hot tub was heavenly and soon refreshed us. This...More
We had two rooms for this weekend. As far as motels go, there really wasn't anything to set it above the average motel. Beds were comfy which is a huge bonus when staying on a budget. It's set right beside the water, with town &...More
A small but clean room. Located at the entrance to Nelson, in front of the bridge.
Excellent view of the city and the lake. Comfortable beds. We liked. There is everything you need. Price and quality are decent.
This motel is fantastic. The people are friendly and helpful. Free breakfast really hit the spot. Hot tub and pool wonderful. Sitting in the hot tub looking out the 4 set of glass doors at the beautiful mountains was amazing. Highly recommend. Wonderful walking places...More

I didn't know Trip Advisor had this feature. Sorry for the extreme delay in providing an answer to your question. For the moment, our Online Travel Agents (Expedia, Hotels, Booking, etc) show us as a "no meal included". However, we offer a complimentary continental that is from 8am-10am in our small lobby that serves waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice.
In 2018, we will launch our first restaurant on-site that will feature a hot breakfast.

Great question. One that not all businesses explain why they do or don't accept cats. We accepted cats until an incident 4 years ago. One of our guests brought in a cat and assured us she had a litter box and litter. Her room was set to do not disturb for 10 nights. Due to other reasons we had to enter the room. Let's just say we got the shock of our life. Unfortunately there was a hefty price to be paid to rectify this issue and loss of sales. Not sure if it was due to the length of stay but we had to gut the room and bleach it. Even then the stench wouldn't go away. We bleached the bones of the room 4 times a day for two weeks. Then rebuild the room from the bones.
Cats are very clean animals and it is often the owner at fault. Dogs need to be walked publicly multiple times daily. Cats remain in the room. This added layer of obscurity is the reason.
Dogs do make little accidents but these have always been easy to fix. As an accommodation we need to be able to fix any types of problem within a day as we need to resell a room.
I hope that answers your question. Bottom line is that accepting cats is too much of a risk considering how badly we were affected. The memory of that incident is almost traumatizing.

"although the price includes continental breakfast, it really was not very good quality food."
