Booked this hotel on the way through from Edmonton to Victoria. Just an overnight stay, but we were impressed! The room for two adults was in their new section and it was so comfortable. I was travelling with my son, so booked two beds...not only did I get two beds, I also received two rooms and a full kitchen. It...

Very friendly person at the front desk. My gps made me go the opposite direction I should've but I got here. Is much better than I was expecting in the $65-$75 range. Very clean. There's a good pizza joint just down the road also

It is a typical motel. Good for one night. Rate was really cheap! You get what you expect. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The furniture is old fashionend and the room is small. It was quiet during the night, although the rooms are clearaudient. There is not much around the motel, nothing in walking distance.

We took a chance on this unassuming Ma and Pop motel in downtown Merritt. It has been recently renewed, has a full kitchen, new flooring, drapes and a very good bed. Very clean too. Good Wi-Fi reception and good flat screen TV. Very reasonably priced. We were able to walk downtown for supper at one of the pubs. Don't be...

Easy to find, friendly staff, parking in front. All rooms down stairs, but with 2 steps in front of the door. Smaller room but there is eveything that you need, tv, fridge, bathroom all good. Bed is good. There is airco in the room. For their price it's fine to have a little bit a smaller room and still have...

I booked a few months in advance as I was going fishing at a nearby lake. I wanted a place to be able to come back to if camping did not work out. The appearance of the exterior did not look like much but the desk clerk was friendly and as I only needed a single room I was given...

Parking Is within the compound. Room is smaller than I'd imagine. No ac but with all windows open I hope there's fresh air. No whitener for the coffee and when I asked for i was told it might expire and is not an inventory item. After 8 hours on a motorcycle I'm reminded I have standards and shouldn't fall for...

Merritt is pretty small city and I stayed I think in all the motels over the years. They all more or less the same but what different about this one is price. I was there for competition and had it chosen because on budget. Most likely will stay there again next year!

Very basic, older, budget motel. Customer service is the best part of staying at this motel. The lady who owns it is incredibly kind and friendly and offers great hospitality. She was gracious when I asked to view the room first. I don't mind staying in an outdated or smaller space but cleanliness is very important and this room was...

Old but clean and cheap. Fridge, stove, microwave and coffee pot (coffee package supplied). To my surprise it was very quiet though it was on a "main drag" (well, a main drag in Merritt) and across from a large sawmill (loved the smell of the freshly cut wood - unexpected bonus). Comfy bed and good water pressure. Most modern device...
