Our B & B is in our lovely home on a quiet acreage in the Kootenays, where you will enjoy the wildlife, and quietness, and scenery. It is close to Radium Hot Springs, and Invermere, BC where you can enjoy an endless array of amenities and pastimes. Children and pets are welcome and we have nice hiking trails adjoining our property. We are child and pet friendly, and do not have a TV on the premises. We do have good WiFi and the rooms have Air Conditioning.

Hosts are very kind to us , providing a menu to select what we want for our breakfast and even give us a try of local caught fish. Not far from Radium Host spring, so we had a very relaxing day there.

3 of us booked last minute on a ski trip to Panorama. Friendly hosts, clean room/house and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning to set us up for a day of skiing! The robotic Hoover was also a highlight! Thanks for a nice stay. Beautiful place and the view spectacular.

Ken and Marion are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a good hearty breakfast. We brought our own food for dinner, and they were more than happy to offer the use of the kitchen and the garden (BBQ if required) . Thank you for your hospitality.

Our short stay in invermere was made very comfortable by Mountainview B&B. The personalized breakfast provided was delicious and we enjoyed company of the host. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, the shower temperature was good and the whole place was very cute. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend this place!

Originally discovered this gem on the internet 10 yrs.ago and I have stayed there every year since! Marion and Ken are wonderfully warm and generous hosts. Breakfasts offer a wide variety of choices- are plentiful and excellent. Love the expansive property and beautiful view. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Short drive to either Fairmont or Radium Hot Springs, six top rated golf courses, Panorama Mountain Resort and the lovely town of Invermere with shops and two lakes good for swimming, boating or fishing. All,this and so reasonably priced!, Over the decade, it's come to feel more like a second home with extended family and would not stay anywhere else. My 5th time at this B&B. Marion and Ken are friendly and generous, Breakfasts are your choice of food, well cooked. Rooms have nice decour. Bed is very comfortable. Quiet home, no TV. Location offers a variety of wonderful activities. A short distance to two great hot springs. A few minutes drive to Invermere, which has shops, restaurants, bakery, as well as a park with large lake, sandy beach, good for swimming and fishing.

We reserved two nights with Mountain View Bed and Breakfast well in advance. We then discovered that my husband needed surgery and we cancelled the trip and all our bookings. We forgot about it until we got a call from Marion saying that she was expecting us last night! I explained our situation, discussed her not receiving our cancellation and Marion did not charge us for the two nights! We feel this was above and beyond hospitality. We really appreciate Marion's kindness and generosity and once we are able to travel to the Canadian Rockies we will make sure to stay with Mt View. My husband feels this is an example of why Canadians have such a good reputation.

Our hosts Marion and Ken made us feel so very welcome, and our stay here was most pleasant and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose. Ken & Marion have so many great experiences to share that we enjoyed staying up late just visiting with them. Like us they've taken long road trips into The North, and they lived in Northern Alberta for many years before setting up their B&B here in Invermere BC. Staying here is a great value and we given them our highest recommendation without reservation.

Ken and Marion are very welcoming and nice people. We stayed one night with them on a longer trip. We left Jasper and came to the Mountainview as a stop on the way to Kalispell. We had no idea what a nice area Invermere is. They are up on a hill with great views not too far from town. They really make you feel at home. We were away from hustle and bustle. It was a lovely quiet place to rest. Marion makes a wonderful breakfast; she hands you a menu when you arrive and you order off it. Great bacon and eggs, homemade hash browns and local fruit. Excellent.

While Marion is a lovely hostess, no one told us there would be so many animals around and about the house and property. We are not fond of animals in the house and the couple with the small child staying - The Mom was allergic to dogs. There was a room full of cats in the house and the smell of cat urine- not impressed. And so many dogs out in the shed. And cats that are bred to sell.. Just something that should be told to guests before they arrive. Just a heads-up in this case before you arrive. Marion makes a lovely breakfast to order. Rooms were okay as we required two - our adult son was also with us. Not terribly impressed and would not stay again.
