Lovely quiet location in the mountains. We stayed in the wagons in summer if you're up for a novel semi- camping experience you'll love it. Bring some bug spray and a flashlight. All Banff attractions are easy day trips.

Enjoyable stay. The place is in a beautiful setting with mountains and woods and is situated really conveniently as a stop-over when visiting the national parks. We stayed in a room in the lodge. The room was clean, as were the shared bathroom and the dining area. The communal areas and stairwells downstairs were not so clean and the lighting...

Very reasonably priced (we are a group of students) and we fell in love with the lodge, real campfire outside and the picturesque surroundings. It's a bit off the beaten track but that made it even more special and peaceful. The staff were very relaxed and helpful, and the lodge was comfy, adorable and clean. We were easily able to...

The staff is awesome, they make you feel right at home. I absolutely Love the location of this place & it's close proximity to Yoho National Park makes hiking very accessible. Wapta falls isn't to far from here where you can hike down to the falls if needed. This is by no means a resort; more like a rustic lodge....

Don't expect a 5 star hotel. Don't expect a hotel. The location is unlike anywhere I have been, mainly because of the lack of hotels and the rest - compare to the electric chaos of Banff. You need an open mind, and if you are staying in a wagon, you need something to sleep under. The bedding was inadequate when...

Just spent a weekend at Beaverlodge and it was incredible. The scenery is amazing and so many wonderful hidden spots around the property. Trent, a staff member, helped us with our luggage down the stairs, and we really appreciated it!!! Food was great and the staff was all wonderful! Rooms were warm and had lovely down filled bedding. Overall it...

Stayed in the main lodge for a retreat weekend mid Sept. 2016 and would return again. The lodge was warm and provided sufficient bedding. I understand they were short staffed in the kitchen due to unexpected circumstances. Considering that, the meals were tasty and wholesome. People with strict food restrictions may have challenges- gluten free was either forgotten or not...

My girlfriend and I arrived with no-one else around except for a rather tired looking guy in his mid-late 60s wandering around the porch in a t-shirt and braces. After a brief conversation it turns out he'd arrived on his trike just before us and was waiting for someone to appear at reception. All of a sudden I hear banjos...

I had the privilege of staying at the Beaverfoot Lodge in one of the covered wagons and it was amazing! The view of the mountains, the sounds of wildlife and the beautiful fall colours brought peace and serenity to my weekend. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable.

Stayed in the Pioneer Wagons with friends. We had a great time, a little cold in the fall bring lots of blankets, it is the Rockies after all. The food was great, unbelievable views, wild and free is how I would describe this remarkable place.
