Our room was mostly updated, clean and a comfortable bed. We were on the first floor but didn't hear any noise above us so stay was quiet. Location was convenient off of highway and walking distance to some restaurants (and Tim Horton's). Would stay again.

Stayed with a few friends while on a road trip. Friendly family run hotel, nice hot tub. The floors are wooden I think so it can get bothersome but overall a decent place to rest the night when in Golden. Convenient location off the highway near some restaurants & gas stations just outside the actual town.

We didn't have a reservation and booked just one night last minute as we were traveling through. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. It's the building... It is so old that our upstairs neighbors walking sounded extremely loud and almost dangerously like they were going to come through our ceiling. It didn't help that they must...

We stayed one night while travelling through. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Attendant at desk very helpful and was able to provide a variety of locations on eating establishments in the town. Room is a bit dated but very clean. You are able to hear th he upstairs guests through the ceiling in the first floor room...

This was a reasonably priced older motel that included breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Left I iPad, but as soon as staff noticed it we were phoned on our cell before we got to far.

The man checking us in reeked of alcohol, but managed to check us in with no issues. The hotel is a beautiful one-hour drive from Lake Louise through a stunning mountain pass - so location was convenient. The hotel itself needs serious updating and a deep cleaning. It was stale smelling in our room. Price was not bad.

We stayed for one night while travelling home. It was charming. We had a room upstairs which was clean and obviously well cared for. The decor is dated but well maintained, the beds were comfy. No coffee in the room but we would stay there again.

We booked on line in advance because of the high season, while planning the trip across Rocky Mountains and parks. A stop in Golden was ok for the itinerary, but this hotel can be acceptable for this purpose only. We had a double queen room accommodation, split in two small rooms and an area with fridge and microwave; space was...

Just a pit stop on the road, nothing fancy suited our needs. However when you walk in and note the rugs haven't been vacuumed in awhile with debris all over the stairs and need shampooing as well it raises concern. When the bathroom counter had only been partially wiped and the cleaner hadn't bothered to move the water glasses etc...

This is an older motel that definitely needs an upgrade. However, we were happy to find an available room at a busy time of year. The room and bed were comfortable enough, plus it was reasonably quiet. Also, it was in a good location - within walking distance of restaurants, etc. The room was not sparkling clean, but it was...
