My wife and I stayed here. Room was clean. Had everything we needed. Fitness room was decent enough for a quick workout. Coffee was good. Staff was friendly. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. I would stay again if passing through Burnaby.

I needed a place to complete a project over three days. The property was clean, staff helpful, parking better then most. There was water and pop available, fresh linens nicely kept. Kitchenette workable and basic dishes in suite. Simple clean and functional. In the greater Vancouver area.....well priced.

Old, not very clean, poor hotel. Wifi flakey and two nights in a row, lost power to the hotel. There are other hotels in the area in the same price range that are much better. Not particularly helpful front desk staff either. Find an anither place to stay.

I was in Burnaby taking courses for a couple of months and on a fixed budget. I chose this motel as it was close to School as well worked in the budget assigned. Followingare issues I experienced in the two months. Body removed from room 201 as I was checking in. Assaulted in hall by another tenant, his wife intervened....

This place is absolutely disgusting! When we arrived we waited while the manager took a personal phone call for 5 minutes instead of checking us in. The beds in our room were infested with bed bugs and my girlfriend and I are covered in bites. Imagine seeing a little bug on your pillow and when you flick it the bug...

The why. I booked at the hotel because we had friends visiting in Vancouver and we are from out of town. The hotel prices in Vancouver proper were staggering - like impossible for our price point. My husband, toddler, infant and I stayed in June. The location. You definitely need a car (unless you want to spend hours taking transit),...

My family and I had been camping for a few days and decided to freshen up with a hotel room. So we booked a room. The hotel is dank and very dirty. Our hotel room was disgusting. The floor was dirty and sticky, the smell of the room turned our stomachs and the beds were horrible when we just sat...

My husband and i booked online for a get -a-way vacation ...the pictures do not reveal how it really looks. Once we arrived there we were shocked at the poor location (VERY BAD part of town) and disgusted with how dirty and run down it is. There was even a foul smell in our room as soon as we opened...

Vancouver is a fairly expensive place to visit, especially in the summer. Hotel rates are double from winter rates. So if you need to visit on a budget, The Happy Day Inn might be the solution. The overall property is fairly nice and clean, in a commercial section of Burnaby, pretty close to the freeway, so 30 minutes from downtown...

Don't be too excited about the continental breakfast: it is donuts\muffins from Tim Hortons. Next, the hotel is very out of date, the bathroom has a weird\gross stink to it, and the AC unit is from the 70s. Also, don't expect any kind of refund if you run into trouble after booking this -they outright refused to do it. Also,...
