Marie-Louise and Johannes made our one week stay in Vancouver/Burnaby really perfect. The house and rooms were built with passion for detail - really nice. The breakfast was delicious and exceptional. And finally the hosts were so friendly and helpful. More than good value for money. Nothing more to say than - we recommend the Haddon House and hopefully we...

My girlfriend and I were charmed with our stay here! Immediately we noticed the elegant decor of this beautifully maintained and immaculately clean heritage home. The nearly 100 year old architecture produces a very warm and pleasing atmosphere in conjunction with the inviting grand piano perched in the living room. Johannes and Mairie-Louise were more than gracious hosts and made...

When you stay at the Haddon House you feel like royalty. Johannes prepares the most delightful breakfast meals that are better then most 5-star restaurants. Every need is thought of and you will find that simply spending some time with Johannes and Marie-Louise is just as fun. The accommodations are very clean and quite. If you are going to visit...

Marie-Louise and Johannes could not have been more hospitable or delivered better service during our six-night stay, from scrumptious breakfasts to packed lunches to privacy and comfort. We enjoyed their beautiful home, and will return at the first opportunity to visit with these wonderful hosts and enjoy the first-class accommodations offered at Haddon House!

My family and I stayed at Haddon House for just over a week at the end of August. We hired the house as we prefer self catering to hotels as you get a real feel for what it is like to live in a different country. The house exceeded all of our expectations, it was stunning, extremely comfortable, kitted out...

The house was very clean and quiet. My family stayed at the Haddon house for family reunion and it was a wonderful experience. We rented the whole house to accommodate our large family. The house has cozy feeling even though it is very spacious. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

We lost our parents last year, and now have no family or home to stay with in Burnaby. But this is still the place we both call home emotionally and when at the coast we like to spend time here. Haddon House is a lovely vintage home that has been converted into a B&B, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood just...

I felt very relaxed and cozy at this traditionally decorated, antique-filled inn located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that was still very close to Metrotown and Highway 1. The breakfasts were gourmet and the owners were very accommodating and professional. I would stay here again!

“We stayed in the room that had the bathtub in the ensuite, and the view overlooked the garden. All the rooms have access to the den on the second floor that has a fridge, and the main floor that has lovely views, a piano, sound system, and chesterfields and lamps for relaxing and reading.”

“They are all great - we were booking at the last minute and took the one room without an ensuite bathroom (full bath was just across the hall), but they upgraded us to the room next door with ensuite when we arrived.”

“I would try to get the suites with the bathroom inside the rooms. I was in the Dearholme suite and the bathroom was down the hall. To make up for this, it was private for my use only and it was beautifully decorated with a glass shower.”
