We started our stay in Le Manoir but my husband found the suite too dark and I was not too impressed with the plumbing so we transferred to a suite up the hill at the main hotel which my husband preferred. I thought Le Manoir was charming despite the plumbing and could imagine that in the heat of the summer...

My husband and I just spent 5 nights in a "suite." I had booked through American Express and my travel agent recommended this hotel and obtained a good rate for us. I can only suppose the hotel was irritated that we were not paying full price as we were given a room over the kitchen and above the entrance to...

Dear Madam, Thank you for your comments about your stay. I’m very surprised and sorry about your complaint about the noise of the kitchen as it is the first time I have one. I will check that as soon as possible. Concerning the room temperature, we had actually turned it onto warm as it was October and it didn’t seem...

I attended La Cabro d'Or early October for business. I wasnt impressed with the 5* rating as the place needed to be better kept outside for example there isnt much signage or way of outdoor lighting and the grass was in desperate need of a cut. Not the high levels I would expect for 5 star. The waiting staff were...

We were there 4 nights and would have been happy to make it 8. Our junior suite was roomy, bright and very comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff very helpful, the grounds lovely, the setting beautiful, the restaurant first class without being stuffy, and the location for touring Provence ideal.

Our two night stay was a disappointment from the start. The quality of reception was barely that of a three star hotel - no offer to carry our luggage on arrival, to park the car away from a parking that was full, or to help in any way. Reception staff confirmed during the rest of our stay that they had...

We stayed at L'Ousteau de Baumaniere on the final leg of our trip to Provence and it was the perfect ending to a fabulous trip. We were a little worried about staying in Le Manoir - but it's location next to the health club at Cabro and the tennis courts worked out perfectly for our active family of six (all...

We had lunch here in August. It was quite faultless AND we only had The Menu. Amuse bouche, starter, main, puddings to die for, a trolley laden with glace fruits - everything quite beautifully presented and by attentive but not intrusive staff. We had stayed here previously - in the annexe - which was delightful too. When we opened our...

I was familiar with the Oustau de Baumanière, but I think that now I prefer its sister property, La Cabro d'Or. It's a bit more relax than the Oustau, the grounds are superb and the whole atmosphere just great. The restaurant is equally as good and service, impeccable. I will go back for sure.

My husband (then boyfriend) and I stayed here in 2006. I am new to trip advisor and thought that if I only ever write one thing on the internet that it will be to wholeheartedly, unreservedly recommend L'Ousteau. On arrival we were escorted to the beautiful terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding mountains and asked if we would like 'un...

We looked forward to staying in this hotel but we were very disappointed when we entered our room - this really was not what we expected: old furniture, old curtains, etc, everything was very dated. It was so bad that we immediately left the hotel and did not stay for the night. Unfortunately we had to pay the room anyway,...

I am really sorry your room did not meet with your expectations. When it is possible we are pleased to offer the choice with another room however in high season it is not often the case as the hotel is fully booked. Our cancellation policy specifies that the room night is charged in case of last minute cancellation. JA Charial
