The unique character of Benoit and Ute's home, their very warm welcome and the incredible views over the village and hilltops combine to make Le Prince Noir a breath-taking place to stay. In the centre of an historic village and in the heart of dramatically beautiful countryside, this is a feast for all the senses from first light to dramatic...

We have never stayed in a more stunning or breathtaking B&B. The view from the balcony is unreal, especially at night. That alone would recommend it, but in addition our hosts were thoughtful, helpful and professional. They answered all our questions, gave us advice on local hiking, and even printed out a map of the recommended route, which we followed...

This hotel is almost impossible to describe. Perched at the very top of the village, at the top of a huge cliff, at the top of a mountain range, you feel as if you are no longer quite in this world. We parked our car outside the medieval town (driving there is impossible) and walked up and up and up,...

This B&B is a true gem in Provence. It was a highlight of our 25th anniversary trip to France. We stayed in the Le Bijou suite, with stunning views from the private terrace. The inn itself is built into the rock, which you can see on one exposed wall. For two, the suite was very spacious and comfortable. With only...

This exceptional B&B is hewn into the Rocks of Les Baux right below the famed Medieval fortress. We were a group of three female friends lucky enough to share the upper suite with its two terraces. It was quite a climb but so worth the effort and so memorable in the sights and sounds of this unique village of 25...

Staying at Le Prince Noir is more then just a place to sleep. It's an experience. Les Baux to yourself before and after the crowds leave. No one to photo shop out of your pictures. The breakfast brought to your room, the kind assistance with your itinerary, the sunset from our balcony high above Les Baux and the sandstone walls...

What a unique and interesting spot. We stayed here in the two bedroom suite for four nights in Aug. 2016. Pros: welcoming, lovely, knowledgeable hosts Ute and Benoit made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived late in the evening. Delicious fresh continental breakfast, served at 9 am or later. Privileged parking spot closer than the normal tourist parking....

If you're traveling through Provence, Les Baux is worth an overnight stop if only based on how wonderful and perfectly-located this B&B is. The owners are a delight, the breakfast is varied, fresh and delicious, and the rooms are rustic luxury. Les Baux itself is packed with tourists during the day, but staying within the town limits means you get...

I was so excited to stay at this B&B based on the pictures and reviews and it did not disappoint! Ute and Benoit were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Ute offered suggestions, itineraries, and maps for the day if we wanted suggestions and also brought in more pots/pans/utensils for cooking in case we wanted to make full use of the...
