This hotel is right on the beach. Booked a skyroom which was upstairs, just set back a little way from the front line. Large bright spacious room with a fridge, good aircon and a sofa /daybed. A nice balcony. Wifi wasnt brilliant in the room but much better nearer reception. Tv had only 1 english channel, however you can get...

Resort is way too expensive! It's dated and resembles an old ghost town. The whole place needs to upgraded. I have no idea how they think it's worth of over 66€ per night?! It is not worth it, not even close! Accommodations has old furnitures and most of them broken. No water (or it's just dripping). The yard is very...

This place has so much potential but is a real let down. We paid around £70 for one night in a first floor villa, which is extortionate by Thai standards and we were expecting something special. However, the reality was a little different. The stairs to our villa were so rickety that we only dared to walk up one at...

We stayed here for 3 nights. We payed for an extra bed but what we got was not an extra bed. It was a madras placed on a couch and only 130 long. The location is good with a beautiful beach and close to the center of the island. There are rules for every things, for example is it not...

This resort has nothing to do with Thailand. The rooms are not nice furnished, sheets on the bed were dirty. Bathroom looked horible and toiled did not flush. Also the area around the houses is not nice, noone lookes after that. Breakfast is very poor, you have to pay for extra toast. There is no sea for the half of...

We stayed here for 4 nights in January and had a lovely time. Whilst the accommodation lacks the traditional Thai beach hut charm it makes up for it in many other ways. Kept very clean, beach mats are provided to loan free of charge which is very useful on the perfectly soft sandy beaches around koh mook The staff are...

I've been living in Thailand for 6 years, generally in the 2,000 + baht range you can expect something nice. Riviera beach resort was probably very nice about 10 years ago - the last time they repaired it. If the room was about 1200 baht per night I would have felt it was a fair price. I generally paid about...

The location is excellent - close to the village for restaurants, but peaceful and right on beach. The entrance looks terrible, old rusty gate, untidy and uninviting. Stayed in beach front villa. (About £65 per night room only) No personality or individuality to the place or the villa. it looked practically derelict. There are no sun beds, beach towels room...

We stayed at this resort for three nights and virtually had the place to ourselves. There were two other couples staying at various times, but at night especially, it felt like we were the only people there. Even the staff go home after 8pm leaving us to our own devices. We changed rooms three times (more on that later) and...

Hotel are worn down, looks almost abandoned. Beach outside are muddy and dirty. On this side of the island, choose Sivalai resort, but this are very expensive. We took a scooter-taxi to the other side of the island to Charlies Beach Resort, had a fan room incl breakfast for 2 for 1350 baht, nice hotel and lovely beach.

“Only stay in beachfront villa”

“The garden rooms are perfect. The ocean views would be nice but not a neccessity. The high/low tide could be an issue if you wanted to wake up early to the ocean as the high tide comes late morning but I'm sure those rooms are still romantic! The garden rooms are a 1 minute walk to the beach and a have a nice neighborly feel with the other guests staying - don't worry though they're still quiet and private!”

“The rooms are quite large. We stayed in skyroom #301. But it does not matter how big the room is when there is no hot water and and you cannot get clean sheets until the third day of your visit.”
