Detailed Reviews
My Husband & I needed a "Get-away" from our own B&B. Peter & Colin were warm, attentive Hosts. Seaway Manor reflects Historic charm of the past with Antiques, Fireplaces and Grand Staircase, while providing the modern conveniences one expects. Our Guest Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Gourmet Breakfasts each morning were well prepared and served in an elegant, sunny Breakfast Room. Hosts were very helpful offering sight-seeing ideas, Restaurant recommendations and even offered to make Reservations for us. The location is ideal, short walk to 1000 Island Playhouse, many Restaurants and St. Lawrence 1000 Island Boat tours. We highly recommend the Seaway Manor when visiting the region.

After my trip to Oregon was cancelled because of COVID, I decided to do a five-night road trip closer to home. For my night in Gananoque I chose Seaway Manor on the basis of price, location and dozens of rave reviews by TA readers. It was an absolute delight. Colin and Peter are delightful hosts and keep an immaculate home. The queen-sized bed in my room (unit 2) was incredible. I don't often rave about hotel mattresses but this one deserves it. Peter gave an excellent recommendation for takeout (1000 Curry), which I enjoyed on my private balcony, and Colin prepared a terrific breakfast. I hope to return before too long!

My sister and I visited in November of 2021. The property is beautiful, very nicely updated, decorated and extremely clean. We stayed in the large sunny room on the top floor which was huge and included two double beds and two sitting areas. We were able to enjoy sitting in the room and having drinks/snacks at the table and my sister who is an early riser was able to read early in the AM in the other sitting area. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely hearty and included scones, crepes, eggs and bacon/sausage. We enjoyed the morning conversation with our hosts. I would highly recommend this B&B.

We are a family of four and just came back from a one night get away at the Seaway Manor. Our experience at the Seaway Manor was fantastic. Peter and Colin are lovely hosts who made us feel welcome upon our arrival and really were hospitable the entire time we were there. Our room was large enough for a family of four, with plenty of sunlight and our own bathroom. I do anticipate us coming back when we are in the area.

Hosts Peter and Collin were amazing. We stayed in the loft as it offers extra space for a sitting area and small table/chairs and there were 3 of us staying. It was a lovely area on the top floor. Excellent location for walking up to the main street and around by the water. The breakfast was delicious with homemade lemon poppy seed loaf as a starter while you wait for your scrumptious meal to arrive. Very clean. I definitely recommended this B&B. I look forward to our next stay.

We loved our stay in Gananoque at the Seaway Manor with amazing hosts, Peter and Collin. Every detail was considered. Little details like freshly baked cookies upon arrival, fresh smelling shampoo, and the hosts volunteered to organize dinner reservations for us made this place feel homey and warm. We will be back.

Our accommodation was spacious, clean and elegant. Everything in our room was top notch including the linens. Our hosts, Collin and Peter, were very welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable of what to do and where to go in the Gananoque area.
Breakfast was really outstanding starting with a great cup of coffee served with a freshly made scone that was gushing with berries followed by a dish made with homemade bread, spinach, goat cheese, and a poached egg with bacon. Delicious!
We would return for the food alone. If you are looking for a B&B that is more than just a place to stay this is it.
