Thank you for our wonderful stay. Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfasts and accommodation that suited us well. Beautiful location right on the water, very relaxing and peaceful. Getting the ferry to and from the island was very easy.

My husband and I stayed at David and Wendy's B&B last Monday night. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. Everything about the stay was pleasant. We loved the ferry ride across, the stunning views of the river, the quiet calmness of the island, the comfortable room, the delicious breakfast, and of course David and Wendy...

Incredible location by the water, on an island. Wonderful warm hospitality, feeling just like home. David and Wendy do their best to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible breakfasts with view on the Saint Laurent. Unique and really worth the detour.

I have found with my past experiences that one can only really get a feel for the place they have selected to stay at by giving a call to the owner, ahead of making the reservation. That contact allows one to ask specific questions about the B&B. The owners of Howe Island are experienced owners that want your stay to...

This place is full of surprises. When we stayed there, there were two other out of town guests staying at the B&B who were very interesting. I think they were from Slovakia and Pakistan and even though their english was limited they had wonderful stories to tell and share with us. The proprietor Dave, or rather "David" as he prefers...

'Howe' does one begin to explain the beauty and tranquility of Howe Island? Wendy and David (Don't call him Dave) run an island oasis sans the waves. The property is beautiful overlooking the St. Lawrence breathtaking views, new memories you'll make but don't get confused that's no lake. Breakfasts were yummy and everything just right. If you have dietary restrictions,...

We visited this beautiful place in Late July in our way from Montreal to Toronto. Good reviews brought us to the place. We arrived late night, but the friendly owner was happily awaiting for us. We were my wife and I and her cousin plus another friend not related to her. There was nothing to eat on the spot or...

I booked here last minute as I wanted a base to go kayaking and fishing, and generally explore Gananoque and the surrounding area. We arrived slightly later than indicated to David, but we were met with a very warm welcome, including a glass of wine on the deck which gives breathtaking views of the St Lawrence River and across to...
