Detailed Reviews
Nice, friendly and clean for a motel. The breakfast room is pretty small and there are so many hindu people who take everything. Noise ! It was terrible experience for us. I hope does not happen often. We did not sleep until 4 am due to noise from hindu people who were running around, screaming, laughing, loudly talking in front of the room doors. I am not sure but one of those people - the receptionist. May be she met some friends and they didn't care about people who want to sleep at night time. Also, there is a huge gap between a floor and room doors so you an hear everything outside of your room.

We were a party of 10 people, 5 couples all staying facing the pool for the weekend (Fri to Sunday morning). The rooms really weren’t that clean, smell musty and are dated. Some of the windows dont work…wont stay open. The coffee maker had water and bits of tissue paper floating in. Good location but for a group discounted rate of $585 for each couple for those days its steep - even for covid prices. Breakfast is your usual hotel fare with self serve scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, etc. We had booked dinner for all of us weeks ahead and when we arrived they had messed up the reservation and given our space to someone else. They did try to make it right but have limited staff willing to work and although they tried it appears they are not that experienced as service people were rude on 2 occasions. Not sure we’d go back there unless there are improvements.

This is a dated property, but we felt it was cleaned as well as they could. there comes a point though , when you clean and it just doesn’t look clean anymore … hopefully now people are travelling more, they will have some funds to do some updates. The air conditioner was quite noisy. We were on the second floor, and the steps to get there were steep, and some tiles had broken off , there had been attempts to reglue thrm, but I felt they were a hazard, I would recommend this be the first update tackled. Breakfast was the standard at a budget hotel, but the very friendly woman who was there made it a very cheerful event.

Disgusting pretty well sums it up but throw in filthy to boot
Have stayed here numerous times when it was a Best Western and since and I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but it has hit an all time low
Threw back covers to check for wildlife and had to brush various residue from the sheets including minute pink balls that baffled me until I visited Tim Hortons next door and saw Vanilla iced sprinkle donuts in the showcase (was this bed ever cleaned?)
Bathroom was filthy with single ply toilet tissue (yes there was breakthrough) no kleenex tissue, toilet seat askew shower curtain filthy . rust on towel racks
Breakfast is a joke (only 8:00 to 9:30) so had only peanut butter toast and yogurt no attendant so you had to dial “0” to get eggs and sausage which we took a pass on.lunch room was freezing some customers came into lunch room looked around saw what was available and said they were going to Tims next door for breakfast
Let receptionist know how disgusted we were and she said it was just a “regular” room but I would think that at least even a regular room should at least be clean and presentable should have maybe booked the Presidential suite I guess
TV reception quite blurry , peeling paint on walls, rust on clothes rack , they no longer have casino vouchers and on
on and on but my typing finger is getting sore so bottom line is STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Very tired hotel with not much to offer. Rooms had mildew smell with outdated furniture and flooring. Broken tiles in room. Bathroom sink plugged. Air conditioner not that great. Old red shag carpet. Broken screen on patio doors. Curtains rod broken leaving the curtain hanging.
Not a resort and definitely not a spa. No indoor pool even though the hotel layout showed one.
Covid has limited the breakfast offering. Front desk was going to cook us scramble eggs and sausage if we wanted something. We choose to eat out.
For the low price of $139 a night we would pay a little more and find somewhere else. The website really made us think there was more to offer than what we had.
Good times with friends is what saved the vacation.

I’ll start by saying the location is pretty good. Easy to get around from. The room is very dated and not clean. The hair from the last person who shaved in the bathroom was still stuck to the wall. Our TV was broken and when I reported this to the front desk they advised they had never had any complaints and would fix it right away. We then had front desk staff in the room and then a ‘repair man’ who looked at it and brought in a box which had a tv to replace it, but he didn’t know how. Then the. Said they would do it first thing the next morning. The next night they said they forgot then went into the room and came out claiming it was fixed and took the box. It still didn’t work, picture was totally scrambled. The room smelt like mold and there was a pipe (not sure for what use) on our patio table. Our last day we were at the poll and over heard two other families talking about how their TVs also were not working and how hard it is to have kids in the room at night with no tv.. my complaint as well. The price was way too high for what they offered.. the spa.. oh boy! I dare you!

This hotel is extremely tired, the rooms were very damp are not at all clean, especially the bathrooms. The food at the breakfast was barely adaquate, the styrofoam plates and plastic utensils disappointing. The amount of money charged was outrageous considering the state of the hotel.

Don’t be mistaken, passin up this little gem!
A little bit aged but very clean and well managed. I Intended to stay a couple nights and extended to a week. Met a lot of friendly people staying there which highlighted my stay! Great out door pool and well manicured grounds. I loved the atmosphere of the attached restaurant/pub/bar, meals were hearty and tasteful. The staff was giving it there all while still keeping that feel of comfort/fun.
Breakfast included and free friendly smiles from staff.
Prices were more worth than what you got, so don’t overpay for brand names and check out this beauty.
The hotel/motel is conveniently located beside a Timmies and McDonald’s plus in the heart of downtown ganonoque.
Enjoy!!

This "resort" is old and unkempt. Not very friendly and argumentative when I told them it was not what I had booked online. They argued with me. They provided a 2 double bed room and sold it to me as a 2 queen bed room. I have picture proof of what they have online and what I was given and they would not refund me. The place smells old and was super dirty and dusty. The toilet was dirty and we found a ginormous spider that you could tell was there for a while. This is the most disgusted I've ever been with a place I've stayed and I cannot stress enough to never ever book there if you can avoid it. If I could have I would give it a 0 star. I honestly think I should have slept in my vehicle. So so happy that we were only there 1 night. The so-called breakfast was gross and pretty much inedible. You can tell the food is from worse than frozen state. Suggest to eat only toast at this place. Save yourself the frustration and headache and book elsewhere.
