The hotel is very clean. No weird smell. You can always see employees cleaning. The room is very clean, the bedding is soft, the beds are comfortable. Very good value for the price. Breakfast is included. They have omelettes, sausages,home fries, assorted breads and muffins,donuts, cereal, oatmeal…. Let’s not forget the automated pancake machine so fun! Staff is very efficient and friendly. The location is fantastic, you are near confederation park with the fountain and the beautiful aquatic birds. On the other side you are a 7 minute walk from the river. We will be back for sure!

My boyfriend and I only booked this hotel because it was cheap and all of the hotels were booked in Kingston and most were booked in Ganonoque. After a day in Kingston, we drove over to the hotel on Saturday evening.
The young blonde woman working at the desk Saturday evening was so pleasant. Made amazing recommendations, answered questions and asked for our preferences for room levels.
The room was more than we expected. We booked a king room and when we walked in, to our surprise there was a lovely jacuzzi tub.
The woman working at the breakfast area on Sunday morning was also such a pleasure. Very welcoming and very attentive to the breakfast area.
Overall amazing stay, the friendliest staff, amazing location with a great Italian place next door.

Almost $280 for a room with 2 double beds on a Friday night with a view of the parking lot. The room was very comfortable but I'm sorry the rate was exorbitant!! The breakfast (included) was very sad. The absolute worst part was the garbage. All utensils (were plastic) and some food was wrapped in plastic. Paper plates and cups. Rubbery eggs (the worst). Never again. Very disappointing.

Stayed at this hotel from Aug. 9 - 12, 2021 with our dog. Check in was a breeze and we felt very welcome with the dog. Rooms are clean, hotel was pretty quiet. There is an indoor pool and a washer/dryer $. free breakfast is served with a choice of muffins, fruits, yogourts and prepare breakfast sandwiches. No complaints there. Located from a 5 minute walk to the waterfront where you can book a cruise of the 1000 islands, a marina a water pad, nice park and a beach. Also very close to the Main Street where you can find restaurants with patios that are pet friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

On the nice side : the lady at the front desk was really professional and the registration was quick. On the other side, we could hear people in other rooms (coughing, baby crying, children talking). The breakfast in a bag was very disappointing (a fruit, a yogurt, a juice box and a non-tasty croissant in a plastic bag.

If you plan to take a boat tour leaving from Gananoque, ON you could not find a better hotel or location. Comfort Inn is walking distance to everything. The boats, restaurants and the outdoor theater. We heard bands Friday and Saturday while we were there. They serve a full breakfast too and have an indoor pool so you can swim even if the weather is cold or rainy. As for the staff, Patty was friendly and helpful. (I think she is the manager). Also Johann, a summer student, deserves a "Thank You" too. For food, we suggest Maverick's in town. It's walking distance, just over the small bridge. We do not suggest Riva next door

Very impressed with this property. Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff are very good, especially housekeeping! Pricing is definitely based on supply and demand, hotel is full so suggests pricing is right. My only complaint is impossible to get a table for breakfast no matter what time in the morning when hotel is full.

Everything was very good, breakfast still provided although is in a little paper bag with a yogurt, a fruit and a muffin. Coffee has to be made at the room . Swimming pool.was open and clean. Max 10 people per hour , request has to be made at least an hour or so earlier . Pets friendly was a plus for us to pick this hotel up. Very recommended if you want to stay a night or two.

A friendly staff to greet us. The location was within walking distance of the waterfront and across from a park. The room was smaller then expected as we have been spoiled by other Comfort Inns. The best part was returning to a full hot sit-down breakfast which was well attended rather then a take-away bag. The internet was spotty...apparently according to the front desk, some android phones will not connect to their server. The girl said this was an on-going problem. I did have service temporarily in the am as the system resets daily, but went out again. My android tablet was fine. Go figure...

In any densely city, this hotel would be a no-no. It’s old… you know, the beige wallpaper, tired carpet, loud air conditioner and popcorn ceiling. That being said, staff was friendly, price was acceptable considering other hotels around, and more importantly location is hard to beat. All in all, not bad, not great, perfectly fine what was intended.

Not sure if management forbids it but the rooms are on the small side. I think it would be difficult to navigate if you were in the room at the same time as the bikes.
There are more places to choose from in the Gananoque area.
