The Kennedy Inn is located right in the heart of beautiful St.Andrews-by-the-Sea within feet of The Bay of Fundy, whale watching tours, and fine shops. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully appointed with old world charm. The staff is one of a kind where customer satisfaction is a guarantee not just a promise.

Nice corner table inside. All servers wore masks and they do take reservations for inside seating. Food was hot. Had a good time with party of four Most enjoyed their dinner. I did not care for the fish cakes.

We enjoyed the Kennedy House. The room was spacious (although the carpet is a bit dated and blackout curtains would have been nice); well equipped with a microwave, fridge, and ironing board; and the beds were very comfortable. It think it was pricy for what it was, but probably on par for this cute town popular with tourists. It is certainly in a great location! It is in the center of the main street, so it's walking distance to lots of restaurants, cute shops, and activities. The whale watch we took was a two-minute walk from our room, which was nice. Overall, this is a solid lodging option here.

Visit this spot while in the town for a beer and some snack food. The patio overlooks the main street in town.... lots to watch. The onion rings and fries are excellent ....fresh and hot. Contrary to the previous review the service staff is excellent and very accommodating. Not sure if they are smiling because they are wearing masks as they should be. Will be going at least 2 more times this week.

Last week my husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner. Our power was out after a nasty ice and wind storm. We were greeted at the door by our server. Seated in front of a glorious fireplace. She made us feel welcome. I had the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. My husband had philly cheese steak sandwich. Both meals were awesome. Dessert was served I had butterscotch pie and he had coconut break pie. Definitely will go back. So if you are visiting our lovely little seaside town of saint Andrews by the sea make sure you stop by the Kennedy inn for the yummy Mac and cheese.

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday. A lot of other businesses were not open on Monday and Tuesday but the Kennedy was well staffed. It was very hot. We took a table on the veranda and had a lovely waitress. All Covid protocols were followed, with extremely clean washrooms. Our waitress was very attentive. Kept our water glasses full and cold. We had a wrap with homemade fries and a delicious fresh salad with the most spectacular radish creamy dressing. I would love the recipe but suspect it is a secret! (I tried googling) Prices were very reasonable and the quality of the food was outstanding. Fresh and tasty! Thanks

A farewell dinner with my family. We love St. Andrews so we decided we would go there. My son wanted to go to the Algonquin, which always fabulous, but we decided to go get something a bit less expensive. What a huge mistake. Probably the worst fish and chips I’ve ever tried. I ate one piece of fish and half of the fries but I couldn’t stomach it any longer. I asked for gravy, which took about 20 minutes to arrive. Meals didn’t arrive at the same time. We had to ask for utensils. Asked for a diet 7up with lemon and got Pepsi and no lemon. Didn’t realize until we walked a bit up the street that I was charged for the food I didn’t eat. I called and asked for the manager. I got a very rude employee who called someone whom I am not sure was the manager and was still not treated well. If a patron is not satisfied, ones first reaction is to say sorry. I was asked why am I calling and that because I walked literally 25 steps away from the place there was nothing he could do. I worry if the owner of this establishment knows that people are being treated in this manner in his establishment. I’m sure to let some good people know not to stop here on their tours.

Located in a historic hotel (over 100 years old) dinner is served early so make sure to arrive before 7pm on a terrace over looking the main road. The food was delicious and the service was great. Lots of interesting options to choose from. You won’t be disappointed.

Where to begin…this lovely Inn is literally in the middle of town! Great location for exploring local restaurants and shops. We booked the king suite not knowing it was actually a bedroom and a sitting room! It was huge! The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggesting local restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as they were having some repairs done. We enjoyed starting and ending our days on the covered 2 story porch. Sublime! Also enjoyed eating at restaurants across the street, the Red Herring and Seasons by the Sea Bistro. Yummy seafood at both places. Also, this stop was in the middle of our 10 day trip so a laundry mat was necessary. There was one 1 block down the street from us. We did laundry and enjoyed lunch in a nearby pub! Also, we did a whale watching trip and our boat was right across the street. Summing up. The Kennedy Inn is a must stay while in St Andrews!

Great value on Easter Monday special:
See 2 pics attached to review:
Delicious seafood chowder and fish fries.
Draught beer and cocktail.
Julie did the job of six employees!
She really did: from greeting us and cleaning tables, to taking our order and tending bar, and the only waitress for a very busy full restaurant.
She was also the receptionist for the Inn.
What would the Kennedy House do without Julie?!?!
