Had a very nice one night stay. My queen room on the second floor was spacious and comfortable and everything was very clean. The shower was really good (always a concern in an older building 😀). Breakfast was included—delicious eggs, French toast, and fruit and served in a cute dining room. The family that runs the inn were so lovely—very friendly and helpful. The inn has a nice wide porch with tables perfect for relaxing…and you might catch a glimpse of one of St. Andrews many (many) deer.

My husband and I just finished a one night stay at the Inn on Frederick. What a nice find in downtown St. Andrew! It is clean, comfortable and charming. Beautiful looking breakfast with a wonderful variety of tastes ( French toast; egg crepe; yogurt and a variety of fruit) and our room, with a King size bed, was spacious and very comfortable. The owners clearly take pride in their business and ensure that guests are taken care of. Thank you for a much needed overnight escape. We’ll be back.

Lovely Inn, good fresh breakfast. Easy to find, free on street and lot parking. Walking distance to dwntn and all amenities. Bed very comfy, A/C very loud, could not have it on. They ask for quiet within the Inn at 10, respected but noisy early in morning. Near delivery area for local stores. Rm # 6

A friendly, charming and attentive couple run this inn and they do a great job. The beds are super comfy, the inn is spotlessly clean, the location is perfect, and the breakfasts divine - much effort is put into the cooking and serving of a lovely hot breakfast, different every day, and great coffee too. We highly recommend the Inn on Frederick!

Rarely do we get the same excellent experience when we return somewhere. Inn on Frederick, St Andrews is the exception. The Kim family are so gracious and such lovely people. Our room, King James had more than everything we needed. Comfortable bed, large room and bath. VERY clean! (FYI-The tub/ shower can be a bit of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.) The breakfast was 5* the same as last year. Again, very pleasing dining. It was also nice to see and hear vinyl playing!!! So comfortable! On our next visit, we will strongly consider partaking in their Korean dinner. (It sounds delicious; reserve ahead though.) Overall, very pleasant. Thank you John, Ester and Mina 🙂

Wonderful Inn one block from the main street. Be careful not to get a room on the side where the trucks go for the local grocery store. The owner John was very attentive. We had the Diana R room which was the top floor ( no one on top of us) but a long way up with luggage. Breakfast included but way too much sugar products. Decor, like most of this type of inns, was slightly dated but very clean.

The location close to Main Street in St Andrews was perfect. It gives you a perfect base to explore all the down has to offer. The host are gracious and the breakfast was a unique experience. Rooms super clean and seemed to have been renovated not too long ago. A great place to stay.

My own opinion but I hated musty smell in the room, old flowery sheets, no bedside table on one side of the queen size bed which small even for two modest size people. The bathroom was dated with peeling wallpaper and ridiculous reminder not to take their big bottles of shampoo and the hair dryer. Do the guests need this reminder? Really? And what about the huge plastic tree in the corner proudly collecting dust? What purpose does it serve? Breakfast was pour but pretentious. Coffee was terrible, and French toast was very poorly done. Fruit salad was soggy and not edible. We are very disappointed and would not recommend this property to our friends.

We had a lovely stay at this Inn. Comfortable and clean with all amenities included. John was a perfect host and exceeded our expectations during our brief stay. If Esther was the one who prepared the gourmet breakfast, kudos to her! It was delicious. St Andrew's is such a quaint beautiful place we intend to revisit and will def book into Inn on Frederick!
