This motel offers clean, comfortable, quiet rooms at an ideal location across from the ocean. The rooms were as good as they looked in the pictures. We appreciated being able to use a small seating area outside. The motel is set back enough from the highway you don't hear traffic.

We stayed for one night mid February. The room was very clean but the first thing that came to mind was" the 80's are calling and want there decor back" The bedspreads were hideous and just replacing them would go a long way to update the place. We had a kitchenette which had the old fridge, stove and sink unit all in one. The fridge had an out of order sign and was replaced by a mini fridge in the room. There is a small ocean view if you go outside. If you are happy with very basic accommodation I would recommend the Ocean Crest but if you like a few luxuries it's not the place for you.

I'm not sure, i gave it a good rating because I thought it was fine, but my travel buddy had a different experience. I thought the beds were fine, she didn't like them at all. I got a hot shower in the evening with no issues, she had a cold shower as it wouldn't warm up at 530-6 am. What we agreed on: -it's clean -it's dated but we don't care -good location, close to some well reviewed restaurants, easy walking distance. -fridge worked -parking lot is very tight if you have a large vehicle but have a garanteed assigned spot for your room.

You like a quiet place to sleep and right across from the beach. This is ur place to go. But this place needs work it hasn’t changed since the 90’s u would think after 30 years this place would get a renovation as ever other hotel has. Still has wall paper u would see at my grandparents house, old lights with a pile of dust in them. Washroom has been changed out but they still use the same old toilet seat that’s faded and ceiling is peeling. The bathroom Sink all the cocking coming off. The outside sign on hotel looks like is styrofoam peeling off. Concrete big chunks off the steps. Needs new paint on the roof and siding that’s faded from the sun. The garden needs cleaning up and shrubs all trimmed. It’s all simple stuff that Would be cost effective. Places like this can make way more money if redone I know I would pay more. The check in and out is excellent. Took a few photos to show what I saw.…

Comfortable and close to the ocean. Loved the friendly staff and the fact that there is a porch that over looks the waves and pier. Wanting to return! The area is just what I needed to unwind with some proper "seatime"!

Young man checking us in was very helpful. Since there is no microwave in the room, he offered us the one in the office to use whenever needed. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Quiet and good location just across the highway from the beach.

We got transferred to the Ocean Crest when our online booking company tried to put us into another hotel that was already fully booked. The room was sufficiently large, clean and with a decent washroom. Parking was a bit tight (narrow spots)

This is a traditional kind of roadside motel. It's EXTREMELY clean, and comfortable. Rooms obviously modernized (including bathroom fixtures). Good beds and linens. Has all the usual amenities. Good quality coffee maker, TV, etc. Has a modern, effective electric baseboard heater with simple controls and temp display. Quiet, well soundproofed. Friendly staff. Looks family run and they obviously take pride in it.
