Only spent one night but this is was a very enjoyable experience. Some renovations were still underway in the halls but the room was very modern, superior amenities, simply glorious new bathroom and shower and a very serviceable kitchen area. Excellent - very comfortable bed. And - a reasonable nightly rate as well.

This is a narrow 6 floor boutique condo style hotel. From the mailboxes in the lobby it appears half of the units are rented on a long term basis. The location is excellent - one block from highway 132, across the street from the river with its long promenade and right in the restaurant and pub and stores district. From... More

Our room (405) was a good size and had a beautiful western view over the St. Lawrence, but also a large parking lot and a commercial building. I was intrigued by the décor shown on the web site, but the room was a little more "well enjoyed" than what I expected. There are many kilometres of walking/running trails across the... More

We were greeted by a very nice front desk clerk who explained everything really clearly. We had room 505 at the end of the corridor with a very nice view of the St-Lawrence river. The room had a very confortable king size bed and had a kitchenette. The hotel itself is really small with practically no lobby or any public... More

Don’t let the exterior appearance, parking lot or the small lobby deceive you! Our spacious room on the “fleuve” side of the 5th floor had big windows and an excellent view of St. Laurence. The continental breakfast, which arrived on time to our room in a treasure chest (charming concept), was ample and very good. The euro style decor room... More

And the lobby is tiny. We were happy to see an elevator. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Beautiful view from the windows. We had a garden tub and a large rain shower. The sink has a waterfall faucet. Very clean. Large table and very comfortable chairs. The most delightful part was breakfast. It is delivered to the room... More

Don't be put off bt the exterior. Rooms are suites. Continental breakfast arrives in a treasure chest and is quite good. Front desk staff spoke English and was quite helpful. Good restarants are nearby.

The soviet bloc dystopian exterior of this hotel is off-putting, not helped any by the dirt parking lot out back with the plastic tarp covered entrance, with a lobby that is one in name only. However, once you get beyond this, the place is a marvel, a diamond in the rough, and apparently only getting better as work progresses. With... More

The people at the front desk were very welcoming and the room was cute. In the morning they give you a continental breakfast delivered in a basket right to your room! It was really pleasant! The parking lot was a bit dingy, but other than that, it was nice. We had a water front room. The hotel is really close... More

It can be a bit hard to find as it's signage is not great and it can be easy to miss it as the front entrance is very unassuming. But the rooms are very interesting.
